    I have used these for years with various Acoustic Electrics I have owned,,I have played Pro for 20+ years and have played with bands at times that I would play 8-15 songs a night on acoustic ,Being a lead player(mainly Electric) I like the gauge,they have a ring that seemed to last almost twice as long as other comparable brands ( Playing 6 nights a week I would change these every other week instead of every week with other brands ) So for the Acoustic electric they worked great,,plenty of volume when plugged in
