Tele snap for your Strat without the noise and hum.
This S-Deluxe neck/middle model are the Strat™-equivalent to the Joe Barden dual-blade Danny Gatton Tele pickup.
The tone of the S-Deluxe is absolutely Strat in character, but with greatly expanded fidelity and a balanced frequency response. Of course, hum and noise are completely eliminated. These pickups are incredibly sensitive, giving you a wide range of tones and output levels simply by adjusting the distance of the pickup from the strings.
With S-Deluxe pickups, the "in-between" positions are wonderfully hollow, and the bridge pickup has the strength, snap, and twang typically experienced only in Telecasters.
All S-Deluxe pickups are designed to fit standard Strat body routs with no modifications to the instrument. The pickups utilize 4 conductor shielded cable to allow for any possible wiring combination and are supplied with wiring diagrams download and mounting hardware to facilitate installation.
And finally available after many requests are White S-Deluxe pickups. Computer screen colors are often misleading so the color you see on your screen may not accurately reflect the true color of the pickup which can be best described as a something akin to "White Chocolate" with a white finish that is not stark or bright. The white color looks great against a white perloid, black and even pure white pickguard. The materials for these pickups cost more, but the price is the same as our standard black.
A few words from Joe:
"Tthe T-Style, S-Style, HB and HBTwo/Tone™ models that you have known over the years are here, unchanged, and available once again. These innovative, first-of-their-kind, pickups will continue to be made the same way you play...by hand...with the same commitment to quality and consistency that has made them legendary since I started making them in 1982.
As our name implies, Joe Barden Engineering™ is more than just great pickups. Continued innovation will result in other new and exciting products which we will introduce as we continue to build our company and your trust.
The memory of my dearest friend and constant inspiration, Danny Gatton, remains ingrained in the spirit of the new company, Joe Barden Engineering.
