Reissue of the Maynard Ferguson mouthpiece.
Jet Tone mouthpieces were legendary throughout the 60s and 70s as commercial trumpet players sought to expand their range and as trumpeters like Bll Chase and Maynard Ferguson (who both played Jet Tone) were among the world's most popular trumpeters. Al Hirt and many others were Jet Tone users as well. The Jet Tone brand was in danger of disappearing altogether but was recently revitalized and reintroduced with strict conformity to the original specifications. This includes the Jet Tone JT MF which is the original model favored by maynard Ferguson. The "V" cup offers more resistance and is good for strong high note players or high school jazz band players seeking to expand their upper register.
