The Princeton Technology datasheet for the PT2399:
"PT2399 is an echo audio processor IC utilizing CMOS technology which is equipped with ADC and DAC, high sampling frequency, and an internal memory of 44K. Digital processing is used to generate the delay time . . ."

PT2399-based delays are digital delays, not analog delays. That said, they sound great and lots of people can't tell they aren't analog just from the sound -- but they shouldn't be advertised as analog delays.

Repeats are actually fuzzed using conditioned ac power source. High pitched squealing from jack. Constant feedback pops.

Started to return before realizing over 20% cost to return. Opened up and found cold solders everywhere and low quality components.

Given cold solders and components actually glad I bought pedal before ordering Jet city head. Can't trust QC of one and not other.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

the ranges of the knobs are quite wide so if you set it for too many repeats and / or too long a delay you get the device itself to feedback. I love this! This is probably why they use the 'analog' descriptor for this PT2399 chip -based design. at the higher speeds it works better than most PT2399 based circuits and it's a cool sound through a big amp. very decent for the price; did not experience any of the manufacturing problems reported by other users.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

Agreed this is not an analog circuity effect pedal... but who cares.. it does the job fabulously for this price. Its all as analog-sounding as an MXR, EHX, Ibanez.... etc . Purists may loathe but on a side by side test you'll find same feedbackin', slappin', echoin', pongin' as true as those pedals of olden days. No popping noise from engaging the switch other reports mentioned in my experience. Does not appear to be issues with durability in my experience with Jet City pedals. Great value.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

No issues with design, parts, or build quality. Refreshingly simple to use without thinking about numbers. No adverse tonal effects. The size of the knobs allows a nudge adjustment with my barefoot. Low noise. Color may appear more green than the photo on this site.

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I experienced no issues with the switch. Everything worked fine. The large knobs made it possible to nudge adjust with a foot (on purpose.) It is has the range to cover doubling, slap back, quarter note delays. Low noise and analog. Not demanding for power--I used the the 100mA output out of the Voodoo Lab power supply. The actual paint looks more green than the yellow look on

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

Tried this pedal at a local shop. It was decent, and I threw it into my rig because I needed a decent sounding delay for a gig. For the price, this is a great delay pedal that tries to capture the qualities of an Analog pedal. I know this doesn't REALLY qualify as "Analog", but if you care enough to know that a PT2399 isn't a true analog device (Although it's NOT a processor that's performing any actions), and you know what a Bucket Brigade device is, you probably shouldn't waste your breath bashing a less than $100 pedal for not being "True Analog". Long story short, don't take this pedal as less than what it is just because some people hate on it for being not truly "Analog".

Comments about Jet City Amplification The Flood Analog Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I bought this on the SDOTD for really cheap, and I'm shocked at how much I like this pedal. The chassis is sturdy, quality steel. The controls are sensibly responsive, and the sound quality is great. I'm not a fan of jet city amps (i've returned two that I bought), but I have to say that this pedal is great. I'm actually considering replacing my (cost of current delay pedal prohibited by MF cuz they sux) delay pedal with this one on my board. Can't say enough good things about it.

We are a working, touring band. We play a lot of shows. Our lead needed a new delay and I just so happened across an email that this was on sale. Took the chance and boom super fast delivery outstanding sound quality and durability. I'm glad I pulled the trigger. It is a most useful tool in his arsenal of effects. Thanks.
