The Jet City JCA12S guitar speaker cab is a straightforward tone box. Use it as the foundation of a 20 watt half stack or even in a full stack configuration. The cabinet handles 70 watts of power, with a 1 x 12" custom Eminence driver for killer Brit-inspired tone.
The Jet City guitar speaker also has the same dimensions as the Jet City JCA2112RC tube amp, so stack them up for increased speaker volume.
Part of the "Design by Soldano" series, this extension cabinet features multi-ply hardwood cabinetry, 16-gauge steel chassis, custom transformers, and 2 oz. copper traces on thick printed circuit board for durable, roadworthy performance.

If you're playing a show and are using the house system to mic this cab, it's a sharp clean and well defined tone. Don't expect to fill a venue with sound with this cab alone, or even hear yourself over most drummers. Expect a 35 pound medium sized 1x12 With a great sound when being miked
I bought this cab to use with my Blackstar HT-5. In my opinion, this Jet City holds is own up against much more expensive cabs. The cleans stay clean and it doesnt get muddy on the distortion side. I mostly play blues, rock & metal. For the money, you cant get a better sounding or better built cab.
I have a Bimbo 105 5 watt head. I happen to obtain this jet city 1x12 in a trade for something else. I am not sure of the specific eminence speaker but it makes me want to get another one. It's just awesome. Buy it you won't regrett if you are looking for a British sound.
I had been looking at this cabinet and doing a great amount of research along with the Blackstar, Bugera, and Avatar cabs. I originally purchased the Bugera 2x12 because of the price under $200 and then regreted it after the Bugera arrived DOA in one of the speakers. I sent back the Bugera and replaced it with the Jet City. I am running my Blackstar HT5 combo through this along with the amp's internal speaker. It really adds great depth and more low end. It has very nice cleans and some nice chime with blues. I play alot of blues and it sounds great. Distortion tends to sound a little dark, but maybe the speaker will come around after breaking in some or I need to tweak my EQ settings some.It sounds pretty nice with drop tuning Creed type of tones. I have not had the chance to really crank my amp through the cab yet, but it sounds great at bedroom levels and with my amp volume half way. Built very well with no flaws at all. Nice attention to detail. If it said made in USA I would believe it. I was going to change the blue panel out at some point, but it looks sharp with the black tolex and grill. For the money this is a great addition. Jet City and Blackstar have a great thing going with awesome products, great service, and making great gear affordable that at one time would have been in the same price range as Bogners and Mesas. If you are sitting on the fence with this cab like I was, jump to the Jet City side and make the purchase!
For just one 12in speaker the box is big but that makes it sound so good , real good. Well built and good looking too. Everybody says it sounds great
It started with my JCA20H head from GC. I already owned a 1x12 Blackheart cab and it sounded great through that but the cab was narrower than the head. So (call me vain) the next week I said "screw it" and went to GC and got a JCA12S cab just for the aesthetics. Figured I could swap out the speaker if I didn't like it. Got home and cranked her up and here's what happened next: within 4 days I went back to GC and snagged ANOTHER JCA12S to make the mini stack (which ain't all that "mini"). It amazes me every single day just how great this thing sounds. The speakers really throttled her up to her full potential and I couldn't be happier. Mike Soldano designed the head and he was right smack in the middle of the speaker and cabinet design too. It definitely shows. These things are as solid a build as I've ever seen. These would be great as add-ons for any amp but the Jet City cabs and the Jet City Head are so freakin perfect together! I'll end this with a quote from my JCA20H review: with one cab it rocked the house, but with two cabs it rocks the house, and the neighbors house and the one next to that and the one across the street and the one ..........
This is an exellent 1x12 cab it sounds amazing I was hesitant at first because its made in china. However if your looking for a very dialed tone go with this it does beautiful cleans and can do metal with the right setup I paired it with the 20 Watt matching jet city head. Its also very durrable and unique in apperance but with soldano's name on it Im sure I mcan trust it for years to come.
