Picked up an old Fender bassman 10. Retubed the amp and changed all 4 speakers with these Jensen MOD10-35 8 ohms. I could not find a better sound if I tried and at that price. WOW, amazing. Brought the amp to life and it sounds like a vintage Fender. Beautiful price and speaker. I highly recommend these. Bass is tight and the highs are creamy, not piercing. I am blown away at the qaulity, the sound and the price. Do your self a favor and try them, or you can pay 4 times the price and get the same sound.
It's a great Speaker, once it arrived I installed it in my Fender 25R combo amp and played. My amp played way louder with Jensen speaker then when it had the factory one. I recommend this speaker to anyone needing a replacement.
Honestly, being as I paid less than $40 for this speaker I didn't hold many expectations other than it would be better than my stock speaker that I replaced in my Fender Super Champ XD. I have been really impressed so far. Immediately noticed that it gave my amp more volume and allowed it to stay clean much louder than before. breaks up nicely, but when really pushed it does get a bit muddy if I use any pedals with it. For the money, I can't really say anythin bad about it.
