MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
What is the warranty period of my guitar?

Most Jasmine guitars carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Models in our Studio Series (JS 141, JS241, JS341, JS441) carry a Limited 5 year warranty.

Who do I contact for warranty service for my guitar?

You need to contact your place of purchase with a copy of your sales receipt and request a warranty service evaluation. The dealer or service center should then contact Kaman Music and request a Return Authorization number.

What if my place of purchase is out of business or in another state?

Use our website's search engines to find a local Authorized Dealer or Service Center for your product. Then contact them with a copy of your sales receipt and request a warranty service evaluation.

How long does it take to get a warranty service evaluation?

The dealer or service center must contact Kaman Music for a Return Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. As a consumer, you are responsible for shipping charges to return the product to Kaman Music. Once in the possession of Kaman Music Corp, the evaluation normally takes 2-3 days.

What happens after the evaluation?

Kaman Music determines if the product is repairable and will repair it under the terms of the warranty policy for that product. The product will be returned to the dealer or service center, prepaid.

What if my guitar is not repairable?

Kaman Music will replace the item with another one of equal value. In the case of a discontinued model, Kaman Music will replace the item with another of equal or more value.

Is my warranty transferable?

No, all Kaman Music warranty policies are valid only to the original purchaser with a warranty card on file or a copy of the original sales receipt as proof of purchase.

How can I get parts for my guitar?

Contact your place of purchase to order parts. You need to provide the model and serial number of the product and a copy of your sales receipt if the part is under warranty.

What does a Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy really mean?

Our Limited Lifetime warranty policy means that for the first 2 years you own the product, Kaman Music will cover all parts and labor for anything deemed defective. After that initial 2 year period, Kaman will cover the parts for anything deemed defective as long as you own the product, but now the consumer is responsible for any labor charges incurred in the repair.
Please Note: All electronics, machine heads and strings are not covered under warranty.

Comments about Jasmine S-34C Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I have been playing electrics and wanted an acoustic for some time. I found this one on sale and liked the fact that it had a solid top. When I first received it the G-string was dull and unresponsive. This string quickly started scoring from my bends. I switched to a set of Martin SP lites and have not had any problems since. all the strings ring out clear and I've had no more scoring. The tone on the guitar is rich with more of a Taylor feel than a Martin. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone who needs an inexpensive but not cheap acoustic.

Comments about Jasmine S-34C Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar from a friend who had barely used it. It's a beautiful acoustic guitar.

    It has a glue-in neck, not a bolt-on.

The sound is plenty loud, but not too loud.

It has a very rich, round tone compared to a dreadnought's sharper one.

The tuners are solid (the quitar stays in tune). The only problem is that the A string tuner head is slightly loose, and it buzzes a bit when I okay the open low E string. This does not affect the actual guitar, though, it's just a bit annoying sometimes.

I noticed that the finish was wearing off where the back of the guitar rests against my guitar stand. However, this problem was quickly solved by draping an old t-shirt over the guitar stand. I have not listed this in the cons because the problem may be my stand, not the guitar. (I've heard of guitar stands ruining Gisbson neck finishes... Perhaps this is the same problem?)

All of the problems I've explained here are conditional and do not take away from the fact that this is a great guitar!

Comments about Jasmine S-34C Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I bang out chords on my guitar, so my needs are relatively basic. This guitar works well for me.

Overall, I feel it's a good value for the money. The sound it produces is acceptable, and I have no issues with buzzing frets. Also, the tuning machines are reasonably tight, and the guitar stays in tune.

My only complaint is that the action on my guitar was a bit high for me, so I took it to a luthier to have it adjusted.

I think this would make a great starter guitar, providing you adjust the action.

Comments about Jasmine S-34C Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

Was totally blown away by this cheap Jasmine. Don't let the price fool you, you are getting a lot of guitar for your money. The action was set perfect and low, the finish on the guitar a clean matte that doesn't really attract fingerprints, and the sound is rich and much louder than anticipated. The head-stock won't blow you away with how interesting it is (cause it is boring), but the tuners are tight and it seems to stay in tune like a champ. If you are looking for a well priced guitar to beat around with, please buy this.

Comments about Jasmine S-34C Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar for my girlfriend's first guitar. I judged this book by it's cover incorrectly. I thought anything would do for a first, and expected low quality, but acceptable, due to it's low price. Firstly I was blown away by the amazing satin finish. It's smooth and just seems to never catch fingerprints or smudges. If it does, a quick wipe does it. The tuners are not loose, I'll say that. It stays in tune for it's price range. Honestly I prefer it over my $300 acoustic. Once you get it in tune (provided you've got nice strings on and have it setup well to preference, but that goes for any guitar), this thing plays like a beauty. Yeah it's no Martin or Taylor, but if I didn't know better I'd think I'm playing a upper-middle range guitar.

For $80 you really can't go wrong with this guitar. I was amazed how well constructed & how well it played for the money. I would highly recommend every parent take a look at this guitar for beginning musicians. Heck - I bought it for an adult-beginning musician.

Comments about Jasmine S-34C Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I'll admit that I'm a noobie as I've only been practicing for about 2.5 years but compared to my Mitchell MD-100, this S-34C is like night and day. Now, it may be that I've had the GC techs set this one up with Elixir Ultra-Light polyweb strings or maybe that the Mitchell was not set up correctly in the first place but the action on this is, to a noob like me, actually playable. It just FEELS right.

I brought it in to work for a co-worker to try. This co-worker has 30 years of guitar playing experience and plays "gigs" and such and he stated, "This plays as good as the much-higher-priced guitars in my collection". He also seemed to like the sound which I'm still too green to recognize the difference from one acoustic to the next.

At any rate, with the right strings and setup, this really is a great guitar.

I bought this Guitar for an Airbnb garage apartment that we have, so the guests could enjoy some music. The sound & action are excellent - and it came fully setup - in fact it was in tune, but for the B string! Very happy with this purchase!

I find myself playing this guitar much more than any others. You will definitely get your money's worth out of this one.

Comments about Jasmine S-34C Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar as a cheap practice guitar(or so I thought). I figured for around $100 if I could bang it around the house and not have to worry about my kids or dogs breaking it, it would be worth it to me. Out of the box it was not good. The strings were super high off of the fretboard. The strings themselves were a little tarnished and super heavy. I took it to my local GC and had a set up done. Wow, what a difference!! This thing sounds awesome. Warm and rich with good sustain. The neck is pretty smooth so chord progression is fast(for me and my beginner's dexterity). A great bargain, but be sure to get a proper set up to truly appreciate this instrument.
