Overview

The Takamine Jasmine ES33C is an acoustic-electric guitar with good acoustic sound, and well-balanced lows, mids, and highs. The ES33C is a dreadnought with a cutaway spruce top, lacewood back and sides, tortoise body and neck bindings, and die-cast tuners.

Some of Takamine's finest luthiers oversee every aspect of the design, construction, and quality control of the beautiful looking, beautiful sounding Jasmine guitars.

The Jasmine ES33C comes equipped with a Shadow LC 4 preamplifier/EQ, which provides boost/cut sliders for volume, bass, low-mid, high-mid, and treble. Having control over two bands of mid frequencies is a nice touch, along with a phase switch to aid in suppressing feedback. And, all of the low-profile controls are intelligently recessed below the edges of the preamp enclosure, reducing the possibility of changing settings by inadvertently brushing against them. It even comes with a hardshell case. Inside every Jasmine you'll find the heart and soul of a Takamine.

  • Spruce Top Dreadnought Cutaway

Warranty
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
What is the warranty period of my guitar?

Most Jasmine guitars carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Models in our Studio Series (JS 141, JS241, JS341, JS441) carry a Limited 5 year warranty.

Who do I contact for warranty service for my guitar?

You need to contact your place of purchase with a copy of your sales receipt and request a warranty service evaluation. The dealer or service center should then contact Kaman Music and request a Return Authorization number.

What if my place of purchase is out of business or in another state?

Use our website's search engines to find a local Authorized Dealer or Service Center for your product. Then contact them with a copy of your sales receipt and request a warranty service evaluation.

How long does it take to get a warranty service evaluation?

The dealer or service center must contact Kaman Music for a Return Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. As a consumer, you are responsible for shipping charges to return the product to Kaman Music. Once in the possession of Kaman Music Corp, the evaluation normally takes 2-3 days.

What happens after the evaluation?

Kaman Music determines if the product is repairable and will repair it under the terms of the warranty policy for that product. The product will be returned to the dealer or service center, prepaid.

What if my guitar is not repairable?

Kaman Music will replace the item with another one of equal value. In the case of a discontinued model, Kaman Music will replace the item with another of equal or more value.

Is my warranty transferable?

No, all Kaman Music warranty policies are valid only to the original purchaser with a warranty card on file or a copy of the original sales receipt as proof of purchase.

How can I get parts for my guitar?

Contact your place of purchase to order parts. You need to provide the model and serial number of the product and a copy of your sales receipt if the part is under warranty.

What does a Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy really mean?

Our Limited Lifetime warranty policy means that for the first 2 years you own the product, Kaman Music will cover all parts and labor for anything deemed defective. After that initial 2 year period, Kaman will cover the parts for anything deemed defective as long as you own the product, but now the consumer is responsible for any labor charges incurred in the repair.
Please Note: All electronics, machine heads and strings are not covered under warranty.

Comments about Jasmine Series ES33C Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is preety good. I love the back and sides od the guitar..When I first played this guitar it only had 4 strings...But after I got some new ones the guitar was great. The strings rattle a little bit.Especially when there new..The case that comes with the guitar is plus and it protects the guitar when I play in church or away from my sisters...Good Guitar!

Fantastic Guitar!

By Matthew

from Minneapolis, Minnesota

Comments about Jasmine Series ES33C Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I believe this guitar to be the best acoustic/electric in its price range. Upon very close examination you can see where they cut corners on the visual details a bit, but it's really just cosmetic and so minimal that most people wouldn't even notice. More importantly it is a solid guitar with a warm, rich tone and good quality electronics. I thought the action was perfect right out of the box, smooth playing and no fret buzz. The case is surprisingly nice as well, with a plush interior and a simple key lock. The guitar fits nice and snug inside, keeping it well protected. I've always found Takamine instruments to be of high quality and I was not let down by this guitar! If you want a quality acoustic/electric guitar without breaking the bank, this guitar packs a lot of bang for your buck! I'm very pleased with this guitar and highly recommend it!
