Excellent starter guitar

I am just a beginner and I couldn't be happier with this guitar. I have picked up a lot of more expensive guitars and found A lot of them harder to play than this one. The strings that came with the guitar didn't last long but I put on some new D'Addario Ej16's and it has been great since. I have sat down and played with quite a few different guitar brands, all I can say is Try Takamine they sure are easy to play.

8 years ang going

I bought this guitar in 1998. I was choosing between this and an Ibanez. I chose this simply because it looked better. After years of play, the sound got better and better(club gigs, indoor drinking sessions, and even camping by the beach). The varnish isn't as shiny as it used to be but it actually looks better this way. The wood is perfect. Dropped it once in an airport, when I cheked it, nothing happened. The only problem I ever had with it was the action. I brought it to the local lutheir, then presto problem solved. I've been using this guitar for 8 years. I'm sure I still have 8 or more years to go.

Very Good

I've had this guitar for some time now and im very impressed for its price. It stays in tune and is easy to play. It's also easy on the fingers and take little time to adjust to. The longer i play the better the sound gets. The look is very attractive and is capable of playing softly and loudly.

just plain decent guitar

I purchased one of these a while back, and the truth is this, this is a really decent guitar, for the money you are getting not only a workhorse of a guitar but you get to break out from the dreadnought mold that most of us seem to be traped in. excellent guitar, really!
