The jamhub is truly a life-changing product. My son's band practice has always been a horrendous battle between me yelling at the band to turn the music down, and the band trying to jam loudly. I used to dread band practice. This hub completely does everything it claims. I cannot describe the amount of stress and conflict it removed from our household. I actually encourage practice at my house now. My son's friends can come over with just their guitars and headphones-no amps to lug around, and jam to their heart's content. I hear nothing except a little singing. My in-laws were watching the house in the middle of band practice one day and weren't disturbed ONE BIT. Amazing. I can FINALLY feel comfortable sending my son to other parent's houses to jam out. Transportation is easier as well. He just has to pack up his guitar and jam hub and go. I don't know who loves the jamhub more, me and my wife or my son's band.

The good first. It does give you a complete individual band mix and is fairly compact. It really is the only game in town right now. Now the bad... It's noisey I wouldn't recomend putting any of the channel volumes over 60%. My VDrums are slightly hissy through my pa mixer but through this thing you can easliy get Niagra Falls if your not careful. If you play an instrument and sing using IEM's you'll have a problem getting the vocals loud just in your mix unless you use seperate channels for instrument and vocals. That kinda defeats the purpose of the one person per channel idea. In a band with just one lead vocalist it wouldn'r be a problem but with 3 you'd eat up all the channels fast. Yeah you can try and balance it through the gain knobs but in practice it didn't work out. I'd rather see an FX send and return than using the built in FX. They VERY limited... No EQ at all.. Mine is going back.

Comments about Jamhub GreenRoom 7-Section System:

This thing was such a great idea and I was excited to get it. but was very disappointed when it came in. It is poorly made. Made from flimsy plastic with edges not even lining up flush. When I move it around, I can hear things inside of it moving. Sounds like a spring or something. The effects are a joke as well. This would not last long if used for live shows. No way to mount it to any kind of stand. Not even the remote. The sound is poor as well. Vocals peak even with trim only 1/4 and are still way to low to hear! Drummers would never be able to hear anything when using an acoustic drum set! Lots of hum as well! Oh and no customer service from JamHub. I emailed them to ask if maybe I was doing something wrong, or if i may have received a damaged unit, but nearly a week has gone by, and I have not received any response. I plan on returning it, saving my money, and getting a Behringer Powerplay.

Comments about Jamhub GreenRoom 7-Section System:

Well laid out and not too complicated. Great manual. This was a (easily done) replacement for a unit with 1 bad headphone jack. A little inconvenient to have an amp with proper output. Remote station it come with is essential for a drummer (me).
Get everybody to trim their input levels to yellow then leave alone all input volume on insturments and unit. Saved me a bundle on sound isolation and treatments. Outside the room you hear the singer and v-drum hits.

Comments about Jamhub GreenRoom 7-Section System:

I used this with a buddy's band and it was great. I'm getting one. I talked to a buddy who told me his band loved it, and I was skeptical. I tried it with them and it was incredible. Perfect mixes for everyone. And it's all in stereo so it sound rich and lush. I used custom IEMs with it and it was super loud. Couldn't get the volume control over the 11 o'clock position, but it never got distorted sounding. Everything was just lush and sweet sounding and super detailed. I could really hear my instrument which I love. I also heard all my mistakes which was a bit of an ego kick, but I love being able to hear it.

I'm selling some old gear to get one for my bands (I play in 3 bands). If you haven't tried one, you should. If you like to hear your gear and play better and tighter, this is for you. Oh, and in silent mode you can play all night. what a tool. I wish I had this years ago, it sure would have saved my ears from a lot of bad sound.

We have moved up from the bedroom model to include more of our worship team with the green room. Though not intended for "live" use we are finding ways that work for us including vocalists.

Comments about Jamhub GreenRoom 7-Section System:

I got this unit for Christmas and it rocks. We get to play a lot more now and the sound quality is great. We used to play in a basement and the sound was awful. We had volume fights all the time and the sound was just mush. Thank you JamHub I look forward to jamming more now than ever before. I only wish on thing ... that I had thought of it. Great idea, great product.

        Best band tool ever!

        By Side II drummer

        from Nashua NH

Comments about Jamhub GreenRoom 7-Section System:

It's amazing! We all can hear what we want and no one on the outside of the band needs to hear us. The clarity is fantastic. The ability to set your own mix... hear what you want to hear..not what the band techie thinks is the right mix. NO more volume wars. As a drummer, I want to hear the bass mostly and then a fair mix of the rest of the band. I play VDrums so I'm used to listening through my headphones. To play live in rehearsal is always so muddled. Trying to keep the volume down and playing thru the PA... the drums never sound right. They sound great through the JamHub and headphones. Add in all the rest of the players to your headphones and it's the perfect mix. Better for your ears too. No ear fatigue. So we can play longer. Big Thumbs up!!

        Better music, through better practice!

        By Big Al Welle

Comments about Jamhub GreenRoom 7-Section System:

The last piece of my studio is finaly in place ............The Jamhub greenroom! Low practice noise and superior hearing capabilities lead to better music. When you can hear the music, you can fix the music. Everybody steps up thier game when they can hear thier mistakes, wrong notes and misques. The 3 bands I play in all love the jamhub, practices are more productive, go smoother and faster. Great product! Love to see a longer cord or an extension for the Solemix remote though. Can only give 5 stars, would have given it a 10!!

        Not gonna please everybody...

        By MaxMachine

        from Ohio

Comments about Jamhub GreenRoom 7-Section System:

Our band, more specifically our keyboardist, thought the JamHub would help rid us of the 'volume wars' and help us hear our vocals better. We are a five piece band, two guitarist, bass, keyboards and drums, and we all sing. We play covers and originals, and gig fairly regularly.First thing: if you do not have modeling processers, you will need them. We all use different mikes, and it's hard to get them all mixed right. If the drummer is using acoustic drums, expect to buy high end headphones to help cancell out the bleed-through. Just understand that the equipment you use right now may not be what you need to use the JamHub, or at least sound good through it. On top of the JamHub, we all had to start spending money on equipment just to play through it. Then we spent alot of time on the JamHub's website forum (which is well set up, by the way) trying to figure out how to sound better, or just sound good. The JamHub is a very clever bit of gear. Having everybody coming through headphones in stereo sounds cool. If you need to practice silently, with your bandmates, this is the way to go. But if you don't need to be perfectly quiet when practicing, just turn down a bit.
