i got this guitar about a month ago and it is the best thing i have played in a long time. at first the shape is a little awkward but you get used to it pretty easy. it has nice balance to it and when you play standing up the head doesn't fall to the floor like other jackson's. in my opinion, this guitar is just pure awesomeness and i love the deep heavy tone you can get from the pickups. they are so warm and don't give you much feedback at all if any. all around beautiful guitar
I have had a lot of guitars,,ibanezxpt700,vandenburg,prs,gibson xplorer, jackson kelly,bc rich mocking bird, ect.. but i think i have found the guitar ive always wanted, thats why im getting another one, i have the quick silver, now i gotta get a black one. these pickups sing, the basswood worried me at first but the pups more than make up for any negative the basswood might have. Access to the 24th fret is a breeze, the neck is very slim, someone must have set the intone on this guitar as it was perfect. It is very light which i like,i use too always want mahogony bodies but im digging this light guitar bigtime. It is balanced well and my friend who bought a 1500$ schecter played this and was sick,he could have almost bought 3 of these for the price he paid and this played and sounded better,im stuck in the warrior world now and i dont think im leaving anytime soon.
