If you're still looking for your sound, you'll find it with the Jackson RR1 Randy Rhoads Select Series Electric Guitar. The young master metal shredder never lived to see the mass production of this guitar, but he helped design and approved the prototype. Equipped with screamin' Seymour Duncan open humbuckers (an SH2 at the neck and TB4 at the bridge) and an original Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo, this guitar is designed specifically for the kind of sonic pyrotechnics its inimitable namesake made famous. Jackson's famous sharkfin mother-of-pearl inlays adorn a bound compound radius ebony fretboard mounted on a lightning-fast quartersawn maple neck that runs right through the sculpted alder body. Mother-of-pearl Jackson logo adds a touch of class to the bound headstock.
Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better! Includes case.

I have always wanted an RR1 and just recently was able to purchase one. I am so glad I did. I ordered it online and had it shipped to my house. It only took 3 days and got to my house all set up and ready to play. As a Gibson player all my life I was a little worried about how I would take to this guitar. A few days later I can't imagine how I lived without it all these years. Great feel, unbelievable sustain, light weight, and looks killer. This Jackson RR1 is a home run!
Words cant come close to describing this guitar. You have to play one to truly appreciate it. The action, tone, finish and overall quality of this guitar far exceeds anything Ive ever owned or played. Including my Gibson Les Paul Custom. I use my RR1 for all types of music, from metal to blues, and though the guitar does excel at the heavier tones, it creates sweet blues tones effortlessly. If you're on the fence about purchasing one of these incredible guitars, find one locally and spend some time playing it. I assure you, all your doubts will be forgotten as soon as you plug in.
Bought this beautiful piece of work a while ago. I opened up the custom case that it was shipped in and I was speechless. I plugged in and the heavens parted. It has a very rich sound to it. The pickups sound very clean and clear, and you can get a crisp distortion when you want. You get a great sustain too. They're not muddy at all. The neck is smoothe and great for arpegios. You can also get great harmonics with this guitar. The Floyd Rose is a kind of a pain to deal with if you change the gauge of your strings or if you dont tune to E. But that's to be expected with any double locking system. That's the only thing i dont like about it. But the huge positives,by far, out weighs the very small negative. I would rather lose my house than this guitar. I love it
I love my RR1. Randy is by far my favorite guitarist. He is my idol and I love his music and everything about his playing style! I played Mr. Crowley on this masterpiece and it sounded almost identical. When I play it feels like gliding across the ocean. It's so smooth on the neck, you're hand just glides down. Not to mention the guitar looks fabulous. I sometimes just look at the neck and the body and just think to my self, what a beauty! GREAT GUITAR FABULOUS 5/5!
Imagine you have just had a dream about playing a guitar that almost played itself. The notes rang out for days and you felt like a true rockstar. It is no dream... the guitar is the RR1 by Jackson. All other guitar companies would like to be able to build a guitar this fine but always fall short. There can be only one. Randy left a piece of him with us in this majestic weapon of sonic lethality and I personally thank him. The moment I started playing this amazing piece of fine craftmanship, I fell in love. I wouldn't even let the salesman hold it because I was afraid something terrible might happen. I gently put it in it's huge Jackson case that comes with it and brought it home. The pickups are exhilarating clean or dirty, breathing life into any amp. The bridge pickup is tight and punchy and the neck pickup is tonal nirvana with tons of vowel characteristic. The Floyd Rose is of course smooth and strong with amazing flutter ability and exceptional tuning stability. The neck is as smooth as silk and painted to match the body and headstock, and if you like Jackson necks, you will love the feel of this one! The electronics are top notch, tuners feel great, and the sharkfin inlays are classic. Make sure you get straplocks because you will never want to drop this amazing guitar, (even though it feels like you could beat someone to death with it and not even put a scratch on it) If you want THE ultimate guitar, buy one... or two! You will never regret it!!
This guitar is just screaming. It`s hard to say anything bad about this guitar, the only thing I can come up with is that it`s not the best to guitar to sit down and play with. The Seymour Duncan humbuckers produce a lot of fat and really awesome sound. I have a ESP KH-2 and a Gibson Flying V also, but when I want to play fat riffs, this is the guitar i turn to. I would really recommend this guitar to everyone who plays music above average hard.
I'm not much of a "V" kinda guy but this guitar is an exception.Very Versitile. The only reason I don't like "V"'s is because I personnally have trouble using them while I sit down. But for people who do like "V" shapes...this guitar is the best.
The RR1 is by far the best guitar i've played it has an amazing feel and the sustain is unbelievable the neck is my favorite part it has a unique shape and just lets you play with your full potential and arpeggios just glide like they should i cried when i got this guitar and its Perfect!!!
I got this guitar for christmas and since then ive gotten way better i play faster and playing with the wammy is awsome and it never gets out of tune if you play thrash or any type of metal this is for you i really recommend it and you wont need a dean after playing this
Roads v guitars are amazing. I got a Roads V crimson swirl a few monthes ago and since then I have became way better. I used to have a Gio Ibanez(although still cool) and I couldnt play that guitar. With this this guitar I can rock out all day. It also gives an awsome clean and metal sound. Especally with crate or marshall amps and a boss metalzone pedal
