Okay it looks cool. And and the Frets are nice and level that's where the positive stuff ends...... okay I'm going to start with it's not just V shaped guitars causing neck dive.... I have another Rhodes V and dean vmnt both have no neck dive. This roads v-neck Dives horribly even with a leather strap... so I cut a hole in a nylon strap and I clip it to my belt loop when I play it..... otherwise I can't play it very long without my wrist getting cramped....... the hardware on the Floyd Rose is put in with channel locks. The wiring job was bad already had to fix it. The pickups don't sound horrible but they don't sound good. There's this warbling coming from the B string. It's not my pickups. It could be the fact that the Locking nut doesn't fit the strings properly at all..... or it could be the dilapidated Floyd Rose that's falling apart which is not an official Floyd Rose Jackson Floyd Rose..... does things made in China not Indonesia... the screws on the Locking nut where drilled out bigger than the screws that were installed halfway into the wood. The tremelo arm will not stay in one spot no matter how much you tighten it... and my issues with that b string warbling is not because it's close to the pickups I backed them all the way out it still does that it's either the bridge or the nut. And I have properly set the bridge up.... and I got to say coming from a guy who lives 5 minutes away from Randy Rhoads as Grave this is an insult to put his name on this guitar in the condition that it's in.... my soloist from Jackson was really good it it was made in Indonesia..... this is made in China even though it says Indonesia on the website... I don't think I'll be buying a guitar from Guitar Center and I'm disappointed to call this a Jackson. I'm not even sure if I want to buy a Jackson anymore... I may just have to stick with Dean..... at some point of any dead replace the Floyd Rose ... but I want. New amplifier more

Comments about Jackson Special Edition JS32RM Rhoads Electric Guitar:

For the JS series being entry level it has great craftsmanship. The neck has the same profile as my american Adrian Smith. The tremolo being a Floyd Rose licensed...its not bad either. This guitar will absolutely need a good setup, the factory is awful. The achilles heel of this guitar is the pickups. The bridge isnt that bad. It produces descent harmonics but the neck is simply put...atrocious! Im putting in some Evolutions. This is a great guitar for beginners and novices granted you change the electronics. I highly recommend.

Comments about Jackson Special Edition JS32RM Rhoads Electric Guitar:

Love the Evil Metal Monster look of this offset V better than my Jackson JS32 standard V. The offset V allows easier lap playing and comfort and is also noticeably lighter than my standard V Jackson JS32. I'm not impressed with the stock tone, but that's expected with stock production pup's. However I plan to change the stock 9 gauge strings to heavier, not sure which yet and havn't checked to see if the nut will need to be filed or maybe upgraded of course all depending on what gauge I decide on. I havn't decided on red EMG 81's or passive red Dimarzio Super Distortion III's, but definitely gonna upgrade as it sounds cheap because I'm spoiled with the pup's on my other guitar's that I previously mentioned. Red does look hot on a black guitar especially this model with red bevel and of course with my black red flamed strap! I also plan on upgrading to a brass or titanium sustain block, so with the upgrades and set up upon completion, this beast should rise from the crypt screaming Metal madness! !! Did I mention that I picked it up on sale for $349.00 as opposed to the regular $399.00 price tag. I am attaching pics of my brand new JS32 RM and my 6 month old JS32 standard with upgraded pup's and yes that did dramatically improve the tone! PS. the neck is a good bit wider than my JS32 standard V!

This Guitar plays great once setup. Sounds thin and generic though. I put some SD Black Winter's and new electronics and wiring. Added Brass block to the jackson/floyd and BOOM. Modern shred machine that sounds as mean as it looks. For the money this is a great little metal shredder.

Comments about Jackson Special Edition JS32RM Rhoads Electric Guitar:

Great guitar over all. Frets are a bit flat but no buzz right out of the box after set up. The pick ups are pretty good my only dissertation would be lack of volume out of them but I use a custom made Stonewall Villain Bridge Pickup with some serious output. I recommend a FuTone Floyd Rose block and you got to go with this Jackson.

For the money you can't beat the look and great low action playability of this Jackson. Special edition = it increasing in value over time.

Like i said wicked looking guitar bought it but should have played it a little longer at the store.
It seems like it is gonna need a little fret work getting some buzz around the 12th fret, frets look very dull and not very well polished and maybe some nut adjustment pickups really don't sound to bad.. Once i get the neck dialed in it should sound better and from other comments on this particular model some had the same problem.

Being a huge fan of bands like Anthrax, Children of Bodom, and the like, I've been wanting to get a Speed V for some time. Now, I generally have one criteria when I buy any guitar at this point, that is either a satin or unfinished neck, which, thank god, it does, but this thing exceeded my expectations amazingly, and it really makes me happy to own it.
