Overview

The Jackson RR5 Rhoads Pro Electric Guitar gives you superior tone, sustain and playability. This version of the Jackson Randy Rhoads V has it all: neck-thru-body construction, an alder body, maple neck with a compound-radius rosewood fretboard, Seymour Duncan JB SH4 Humbucking Pickup (bridge) and Jazz SH2N humbucker (neck), Tune-o-matic-style bridge with strings thru body, sharkfin inlays, and gold hardware. This Jackson Rhoads looks hot and sounds hot!

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Great guitar

By MIKE MONDRAGON

from Toledo, OH

This is my favorite guitar in the rhoads series. I bought this guitar in april of 2009, and it has been my main live guitar. Although traditionally I'm a fan of EMG pickups, this particular model just sounds incredible with the Seymour-Duncan pickups. The weight is balanced very well, which is something i struggled to find with other flying V's. The only thing i would have liked is for the guitar to have 24 frets.

Excellent Guitar!

By CY

from Tampa, FL

I have been playing for 25 years and have pretty much played them all. This guitar sounds incredible and it very comfortable to play. Not to mention the great looks. This is my 3rd Jackson and can't see another Jackson model topping this one.

tone machine!

By Michael

from Milwaukee, WI

I have had this guitar for a couple of years now, and this is easily the best guitar i own. the seymour duncan pickups just sound great for anything from hard rock to prog to thrash metal, the neck is superfast, and it just looks so cool! I have the ivory finish, which stands out from the norm, and I always get compliments on it every time Im on stage. Awesome axe!

Great Customer Service

By Al

from Maine

The guitar is great and why wouldn't it be, If it was good enough for Randy? But what set this experience apart from others was the customer care I got from the S.Portland Guitar Center. I could have ordered it myself over the internet, but I wanted to make sure it was just what I wanted and Jim at the Guitar Center store walked me through every step, assuring me that I could bring it back to them if there was any problems. Product is one thing, Customer service is above and beyond. Thank you Jim and thank you Guitar Center.

Amazing metal guitar

By Greg

from MA

This is by the far the best guitar i have played for metal. I have a RR3 as well. I know most people say that this guitar isn't as good the RR3, but play them both and you will see. The tonality of this guitar is that of a Les Paul on speed. At first I thought it would be better off with a Floyd Rose tremelo, but now i see it would only flaw this perfect tone. Seriously, I'm a big Floyd Rose fan, but this is perfect. If you like Randy Rhoads, Iron Maiden, Van Halen,Iced Earth and so on this guitar would be for you. The neck is probably the best playing guitar neck I have ever played...

WOW!

By Mark

from Royal Oak, MI

This is a perfect guitar. The Quality of this guitar is unreal. The sound is everything you could ever want.It is hands down the most comfortable guitar I have ever picked up. I own a zakk wylde gibson les paul custom, a 77 les paul custom, 84 Kramer Baretta, SRV Strat, and Gibson Sg. The rr5 is by far my favorite, that is saying alot.

A guitar of godly proportions.

By Keirosen

from Long Key, Fl

I'm an extremely picky guitarist. And I didn't see much about this guitar that i liked. Considering the Rosewood fretboard, No binding, And gold hardware, from a first glance I just said "No". At my local Sam Ash I saw this guitar right next to the Alexi Laiho signature guitar. As a metal head, I preferred the Alexi Aesthetically. Not any more. The Alexi was okay in feel but the neck was uncomfortable for me, being used to Schecter's baseball bat neck. The sound was dry. But then I picked up the Jackson And it blew my mind. Looked better than what I expected, way better than the LTD. Sounded thick, juicy, And powerfully hard hitting. Massively comfortable. I could pull of Yngwie And Loomis Stuff with this thing. Next time I'm up in Miami I'm definitely buying this Guitar.
