I got this guitar for Christmas, and god does it have amazing tone. The distortion on this guitar actually hurt my ears when i first plugged it in. The neck is seriously thin too, allowing it to shred better than pretty much any guitar I have ever played. All in all, this is the best guitar any metal head like me could ever own
Ive always wanted a flying V... When I seen the look of this one, I had to have it. I had to adjust the tremelo and spring tensions to gt the action a lil lower. At first I wasnt happy, but after adjusting it, It plays great. Ive got the cheaper version and playing thru a mesa rectifier, it screams.... Great axe for a decent price..
Personnaly i love this guitar!!! the neck is really smoothe to play on and is very versitile when it comes to playing anything from chord progressions to deathmetal leads. And for only having the standard EMG hz pickups in it it doesnt sound that bad especially when u play at high volume level. the FR bridge gives it good capability to do dive bombs and tremolo harmonics. the only thing is the fr makes it kinda difficult to tune, can take while to get just right but once u do it sounds pretty good. the main reason i like this guitar is cause it's unique the way it looks and people really like that. even if ur not into the v's this is still a good guitar for as cheap as it is. another thing is the input for the chord is in a difficult place and when it comes loose it's hard to fix, if u dont have the right tools. all in all a good guitar though.
