Comments about Jackson JS32 King V Electric Guitar:

First off, this is a little more than a product review. Besides providing my EXPERIENCED reviewing critique of this guitar, I feel it highly necessary to comment on a previous review--in fact, let's start with that.
Julian IX of Seattle, WA posted a review of this JS32 King V on Feb 17, 2016. In his/her review, it was stated that, "My job as a volunteer reviewer is to tell the truth." Well, all product reviewers are volunteers, but it is not a "job!" When reviewing any product, you MUST remain unbiased for the duration of said review--always. Now, let us examine the specific comments Julian left about this guitar.
-- " the treble high end sounds good and sharp. The bass end sounds phony(sic) and simply muted. The pickups only sound good on the lead/treble setting."
** Okay, why could this be? There are a few reasons, actually. First, every DECENT reviewer knows to list the other gear used during the review---ahem, what amp was used??? Was Julian plugged into a small solid state, battery powered micro amp? Was a 10-watt solid state Peavey used? Who knows? Julian never told us!
-- "The guitar neck is too thin too even support standard tuning."
** Complete BUNK!!! Is this person serious? Well, lets take a look at the speed neck's dimensions and also compare it to another manufacturer's thin neck, shall we? The Jackson speed neck dimensions are: Thickness at 3rd Fret: .775"...Thickness at 12th Fret: .835" with a hard D back profile. Now let us compare that to one of the thinnest and greatest necks ever--the Ibanez Wizard neck: Thickness 1st Fret: .708"...Thickness 12th Fret: .787" Quite funny that a shredder's favorite thin neck, the Wizard is not only thinner than the speed neck--but never had "tuning problems" due to neck dimensions. Also remember that the Jackson speed neck is graphite reinforced, while the Wizard is not! Does Julian not know how to setup a guitar?
    See next block...

It isn't capable of staying in tune.

Comments about Jackson JS32 King V Electric Guitar:

My job as a volunteer reviewer is to tell the truth. First about tone: the treble high end sounds good and sharp. The bass end sounds phoney and simply muted. The pickups only sound good on the lead/treble setting. The guitar neck is too thin too even support standard tuning, and the design of the tuners is cheap and faulty. When you have one string tuned properly, one or more other string are knocked OUT of tune, and so on, because the neck is thin and unstable and the tuning pegs were designed for a toy rather than a real guitar. Having locking nuts and tremolo arm become pointless, as they too will detune the strings, period. Also, had I known the Jackson JS32 King V was "Crafted" in China, I certainly wouldn't have bought it. I spend most of my practice time repeatedly trying to retune it, and when I can get all of the strings tuned, most of my practice time is gone. A waste of my time and money. Not buying anymore Jacksons because of this.

Excellent guitar. Perfect weight, Great playability. Easy to shred, frets are flawless. The pickups arent that great, just switch them for duncans and your fine. Id recomend this to anyone.
