Comments about Jackson JS 1X Rhoads Minion Electric Guitar:

I think it is great for a JR guitar. And plus it is a Jackson. Pick ups could be better but not bad. The Fret end could use sanding a lil.I like the inlays that is a plus. Not bad lil guitar and i love the neon green. Better then a cheap fender in my book to start learning guitar.

Comments about Jackson JS 1X Rhoads Minion Electric Guitar:

I am learning guitar solely with rocksmith 2014 on Xbox. I'm 37 and I'm short so I have small hands. The les Paul I had was hard to reach chords say from 2nd fret up to 6-7 fret. This guitar helps alot for that. It sounds good but it comes with 9s I think. I play 10s. So I would push too hard and note would be off. I sanded down my frets so are smooth and put bigger strings on. I haven't had any problems with it. Good for beginners with small hands.

Comments about Jackson JS 1X Rhoads Minion Electric Guitar:

I bought the snow white Rhoads Minion last night. The only complaints I have is the frets hang of just a bit, and the back of the neck for some reason drys my left hand out, I think it's due to the neck not having a finish on it. There is also 3 tiny dots of black where overspray from a black guitar got on it. That doesn't bother me really, because you can't see it from a distance or even at a first glance up close. Now due to it's 2/3 scale it's best tune 1/2 down with the strings that comes on it. If you place 11s then it might be better for standard A440. Right out of the box it has great action, I love the guitar and have no regrets. It's definitely going to be my second main guitar next with Gibson SG. This overall is a good guitar for a learning guitarist and even a fun guitar for the intermediate looking for a good V at a reasonable price. Oh and the pickups are high gain as well. It is a great Randy Rhoads guitar for a very reasonable price.

Comments about Jackson JS 1X Rhoads Minion Electric Guitar:

The frets are off. When I play tho guitar I ALWAYS play the wrong notes due to the poorly placed frets. How do I know its not me? Because I have other guitars that I play and they're on point. Bought this guitar for an edgey practice piece but its just a big disappointment. :(

Even though it seems like a good deal, this guitar sounds just like a squier by fender! I would never buy this guitar again such a waste of money
