Overview

The Jackson DK2 Dinky Electric Guitar is both a looker and a screamer with Seymour Duncan STK-1s in the neck/mid and a Duncan JB in the bridge position and flashy finishes. The alder body is fitted with a shred-eriffic rock maple neck and a bound compound-radius rosewood fretboard. Transparent finish models have a stunning flamed maple top. A scalloped heel means uninhibited access to the upper frets, while a Floyd Rose double-locking trem let's you dive as deep as you want. A deluxe Jackson molded case by SKB comes with the package to protect your investment and keep it looking good.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better.

Great Guitar

By Luke Scott

from Rochester, New York

Comments about Jackson DK2 Dinky Electric Guitar:

This guitar has been excellent since the first time I picked it up in the store. The action is very low, without much noticeable fret buzz (set up very well from the factory). The tone is very versatile (thanks to the Seymour Duncan pickups). When I play out, I use this guitar along with my Epiphone Les Paul Custom. This guitar handles the heavier songs with ease, and the single coil also takes care of songs that require a bright clean tone- the Epiphone is for blues tunes. The Tremolo is a little bit sensitive for my liking, but the locking nut allows for extended use without getting out of tune. I also used this guitar on several tracks on my band's newest album, and the tone was excellent. I have 16 guitars, including some double and triple the price of this, and this guitar stands out in the croud.

Excellent guitar!

By Fernando C.

Comments about Jackson DK2 Dinky Electric Guitar:

I have had this guitar for like 2 years, and I have to say it is one of the best instruments I have tried. It is made in Japan, the quality is excelent, the SD pickups totally rock. The neck is amazing, even though I like strings a little high, on this guitar a set them veeeery low. It is soft to play, and manages lower tunings nicely. It does for me any music genre. I have tried some friends Gibson LP Studio and I still prefer my Jackson. It would be very cool if the guitar had the wrench holder on the back of the headstock, but oh well it looks elegant without it. You can make serious dive-bombing and the Licensed Floyd-Rose doesn't go out of tune. Maybe out of the store won't as nice, but once you set her up, you've got a monster.
