Titanic tone and fantastic flexibility come from the humbucking Seymour Duncan TB4 bridge and SH1N neck pickups with 3-way selector. Resounding resonance is achieved with a thru-body, quarter-sawn maple neck and alder body. Original Floyd Rose double-locking trem in a recessed bridge cavity combines with a bound ebony 24-fret fingerboard, scooped lower bout, and reduced heel for limitless playing freedom. Scorching Jackson looks are enhanced by the carved maple top, bound headstock, black hardware, and custom green ghost flames paint job on black. 25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" nut.
Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

If you desire two humbuckers, a neck through, an original floyd rose and a PERFECT setup out of the box then this is your best choice in the category. I own a bunch of high end guitars from many of the big name guitar makers and competitors of this one, and this guitar out plays them all.
sound is subjective...I absolutely love the sound of the duncans with an ebony board and a neck through...but this guitar really shines in playability.
I have had to perform work to all of my other guitars (even my Prestige and M-II)including fret leveling in order to get the others to play nearly as low as my SL2H. I am picky about low action but dont like any buzzing or bend-out. All of my guitars are set up so every fret can be bent up at least a full step.
The SL2H came set up with 1mm clearance at the 12th fret. I can slide a 1mm pick up between the fret and the string at the 12th and it stays. Unbelievably, every note on the fretboard sounds FULL and there are NO dead spots when bending...even with the action this low.
This guitar is a dream come true. If you are experienced at setting up guitars with LOW action then you will understand the value of these traits. Thank you, Jackson.
I purchased this guitar yesterday. I have several other guitars (Les Paul Custom, Gibson ES-335, Fender Strat, Washburn, 2xClassical guitars) this guitar is by far the easiest of all to play. The neck has great action and is very comfortable. The only issues I have with this guitar is re-stringing and tuning, but once you learn the tricks its no longer an issue. It is a bit on the pricy side, but I feel it is worth the investment. Also, I had a choice between a PRS & this guitar, I much prefered the feel of this guitar and the sound.
Had a USA Jackson a while back, sold it, and it bothered me so much I just had to own another. The TRANSPARENT GREEN looks absolutely fantastic with a bookmatched flame maple top and even a flame maple headstock. Not quite what you would get on a PRS, but it's still killer. The quartersawn maple neck-through will give you sustain for days and the 12"-16" compound radius is comfortable to play in both the low and high register. The pots have a smooth and even taper. The Duncan TB-4/JB humbucker is punchy, but a little too warm--I suggest putting a Dimebucker in the bridge to complement the maple and ebony. The Floyd Rose worked well right out of the box, but I like to do my own setups and maintenance. Got mine in 2012 and the case that came with it is an SKB hardshell with TSA latches and the Jackson logo on the side. What more could you ask for? BUY THIS NOW!
