Availability:

A shredding machine with a locking trem.

The Jackson RX10D Rhoads electric guitar is built with a high-quality alder body and a pair of Duncan Design humbucker pickups. The HB103B is a high-output ceramic bridge humbucker based on the Duncan Distortion. The HB103N is a hot alnico neck pickup based on the Duncan Jazz. It has a Floyd Rose-licensed Low Profile locking tremolo, 24 jumbo frets, a bolt-on rock maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and chrome hardware. Controls include master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup switch.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

  • Awesome

As reviewed by Nick on 7/8/2011

I bought this beauty a couple of months ago off of ebay. The guitar is beautiful and feel is amazing. The one that I purchased is from 2000 and still sounds awesome but sooner or later i will switch out the pickups. The guitar itself is built pretty solid. The finish on mine is a blue-blackish swirl and looks great. They obviously do not make that finish anymore or its just out of stock but it looks great. The guitar is a Metal machine and is great for thrash metal. Anyone looking to buy this, definitely purchase it.

  • i love it!

i got this guitar in july 20 10. i changed out the pickups to the seymour duncan authentic sh-2 n jazz, and the sh-4 jb. this guitar looks and sounds amazing. i tried as hard as i could to dive bomb and get the licensed floyd out of tune. i could not. i really wanted to see if the licensed floyd would let me down, it just wouldn't. this is a must have with the peavey 6505 112 combo.

  • Metal Machine

As reviewed by Barry on 8/29/2009

The Jackson rx10d is made for metal. The neck is nice and thin so your are able to move about it very fast. The floyd rose is a nice addition and i havent had any problems with it, it stays in tune fine even when do those big dive bombs. My only complaint is the pickups they werent terrible but i put in a set of seymour duncan blackout AHB-1 set and now this guitar is a metal machine. So overall if you are a fan of metal and shred music this guitar will fit your needs perfectly.
