Electronically sophisticated, visually elegant, sonically staggering!

The Jackson PC-1 Phil Collen USA Electric Guitar boasts a quilted maple top and compound-radius flame fretboard to provide visual appeal that's as captivating as it is original. A double-bladed Sustainer humbucker up front sings it sweet and quiet, while a DiMarzio HS2 in the middle and DiMarzio Super 3 at the bridge dish out that signature Phil Collen chunk and screaming sustain. The Jackson PC-1 has a mahogany body and quartersawn bolt-on maple neck. Original Floyd Rose double-locking trem. Jackson includes a hardshell case with your PC-1 Phil Collen Guitar.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

  • Quartersawn maple bolt-on neck
  • 24 frets

This Is One Bad Axe!

From the mesmerizing quilt to the endless sustain, this PC1 gets my full, undivided attention. I first picked this guitar up about three years ago at my local music store. I was shopping for an American made instrument, and once I laid eyes on this beauty, I was immediately drawn in. I sat down and cradled this guitar like a newborn baby. Then, the moment of truth came when I plugged into a Marshall Mode Four. I knew then that I had a partner for life! The playability of this guitar is amazing. The Dimarzio pickups, in conjunction with the sustainer/fundamental harmonic blend, give you a wide range of sounds and tones. Did I mention endless sustain? To this day, I get lost in the fine quality of the quilted maple. My PC1 has the Mocha finish. I'm not one to pick black for a finish, but the quilt has so many shades...It is beautiful!

Guitar of Ages

Yes, that is the only Def Leppard pun I could come up with for a title. With that said this is a beatiful guitar. It has to be Jackson's best. I do not own it, but my friend has 6 of them, and every time I play them I envy him. He is addicted to them. I plan on making one my next guitar. I play Ibanez jems, and these come very close in playability, thin fast neck and 24 frets. And they have a sustainer! What more could I ask for! All I have seen have A+ tops on them as well. The only complaint I have ever heard from someone was that on a dark stage, they could not make out the frets, cause there are no fret markers except for very small ones on the side of the neck. If you are looking for a great sounding/great looking rock guitar, with a sustainer to boot, then look no further.
