Kevin Bond's Jackson signature model!

Solid, 3-piece, neck-thru mahogany construction is coupled with a single Seymour Duncan Iommi humbucker for the most direct, blistering, and muscular tone around! Developed with the Superjoint Ritual guitarist, every aspect of this model is designed for ultimate performance. It has sculpted mahogany body wings, an ebony fretboard with custom pentagram inlays, black hardware, and an adjustable bridge with fine-tune tailpiece. Jackson artist instruments are built to handle the hard life of the road, and are ready to take whatever gets thrown at them.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Jackson Kevin Bond Signature Rhoads Features:

  • Mahogany body
  • 3-piece mahogany neck-thru design
  • Ebony fretboard
  • Custom inlays
  • Seymour Duncan Iommi twin hot-rail humbucker
  • Black hardware
  • Adjustable bridge
  • Fine-tune tailpiece

Pretty good

I saw this at the store and picked it up, I had my EMG 81'd ESP V with me and ran them both through a Dual Rec. First off, this balances far better than the bolt-on Rhoads guitars. It actually surprised me when I checked the specs online because it felt as if it were a short scale guitar, maybe it's just the way they feel but whatever, that was pretty cool because I hate guitars where the neck sticks out too far (like SGs). I'm not sure how they come set up stock, but the playability was great, in the upper registers tapping was very easy and it didn't fret out at all. As for the sound, the Tony Iommi bucker (which SD sells as the Scott Ian Diablo) is pretty ridiculous. It is like the EMG 81 but more alive, it sounds raunchier, pinch harmonics are better from it too. I was using pretty heavy distortion so I don't know what the clean sounds like but it seemed like a very high output pickup. I think the inlays look dumb and it's kind of expensive but the build is top-notch. If you like it and the features I'd say it's a great guitar and buy it.

Its good.

I tryed this guitar at another store. When the person working there took it down for me I got a little nervous. The guitar looked cool, but based on what I saw I, I did not think it would be that great. The thing had not seen much action. It was all dusty and there were almost no finger prints on it. But when i plugged it in I was pleasently supprised. It plyaed very well as a metal guitar. It had nice crunch, and the neck was nice and smooth. The inlays are cool too. A must have for any metal fan.

Bond Signature Rhoads

I own 2 Kevin Bonds and a USA RR1 and some Gibson Customs. The Mahagony solid body and the ebony fret board make these guitars ideal for any metalhead. For the price you can't beat this quality!!!! I did own the Alexi and some other top ESP Ltd's and various manufactures but, I still keep coming back to Jackson.
