The V-vibe in quintessential form.

The X Series Jackson KVX10 electric guitar is built with a high-quality alder body and a pair of Duncan Design humbuckers. The HB103 is a high-output ceramic bridge humbucker based on the Duncan Distortion. The HB102N is a hot Alnico neck pickup based on the Duncan Jazz. King V features a licensed Floyd Rose Low Profile tremolo, 24 jumbo frets, a bolt-on rock maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and chrome hardware. Controls include master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup switch.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Jackson King V X

These are really great guitars. The neck feels really thin and comfortable for those high speed lead licks. The big frets make playing feel like a dream. The metal controls give you a really firm feel when making adustments to your sound. I play through a Marshall 800 head with 1960A cabinet. This axe just screams with this setup. The setup on mine was perfect from the factory and the guitar stays in tune really well. The only complaint would be that the guitar is just a little bit neck heavy.

Excellente!

I recently bought this guitar from a nearby music store, I got the factory blemished version but I could not find the blemish ANYWHERE so I got it for $330 instead of $500 and I must tell everyone this is one fantastic guitar! The Floyd Rose is amazing (I've never owned one before) and the neck is small so it's easy to run up and down quickly, the frets are easy and smooth and the tone is phenominal! Deffinetly worth every penny, know how much you pay for it!

Jesus Christ

The King V is so far the best guitar i have ever played... there are wide spaces between the strings so its easier to play standing and the pickups are sweet... nice sustain. the floyd rose is beautiful and the neck is somewhat this but smooth. if you like distortion guitars or just V's this guitar is perfect for you.

entry level for the extreme

I got an older model x-series, before they put the tremolo on them, but mines got the fin inlays and duncan designed pickups. First of all its a very comfortable guitar. I love the way my forearm rests on the fin when I'm playing. This has made me want to upgrade to a better V-guitar. If your looking for a great guitar and you've got a good bit of money, don't waste it on this guitar. The pickups aren't too good (I heard better on a $50 Lyon, Scott Ian model). Also its got a bolt on neck so you dont get much sustain, but what do you expect for $400. I bought this guitar because I didn't have much money to spend. I think I got a good deal, but I still want a better guitar. I'm switching the bridge pickup with an authentic duncan distortion later this week, hopefully that will make a big difference. The neck pickup is actually pretty good, but I don't use it too much.
