  This guitar is simply unbeatable for the price. I've had mine for over a year now, and I've never had any problem with it. The look, feel and sound of this guitar are all excellent. Very little adjustments to the action were needed, it can basically fly right out of the box. For this price, you really cant get a better guitar for metal.

  I have had this guitar for a Year and a Half, I can say I have been satisfied with it. It's a great guitar if you want to upgrade from your cheap beginner guitar. It's definitely a step up. One of the features on this guitar is the Floyd Rose. It's actually not as good as I said it was before. It gets out of tune with Dive Bombs and Squeals and anything along those lines. It's not a good Tremolo. I suggest investing in a Tremolo better than this one like an Original Floyd Rose. If you get a guitar that says it's licensed or it has the logo of the guitar on it, chances are that it's not gonna be a good Tremolo which I have found out. That's the only downfall about this guitar. That and the fact that it's a Bolt-On (which isn't a huge issue but it can be a bit hard to access the higher frets because it blocks my hand but some people prefer Bolt-Ons but it's not for me). The Tone is good (I have gotten new pick-ups and it sounds better) but the Basswood body limits the tone. It doesn't sustain a note very long. If you want to get the true colors of this guitar, I would probably get a tube amp if I were you. Tube amps always bring the best out of any guitar, whether if it's cheap or the highest end model. Solid States only imitate tones and isn't a very natural tone. So I suggest getting a Marshall. I still have my Line 6 (which I kinda regret getting but it's only a progress right?) but Marshall, Randall, or Hughes & Kettner is probably the way to go. Moving on to the neck. The Neck is nice and fast and when you play fast rhythms, it works out your hands. It is truly a guitar for musical athletes. It also helps play better. I can't tell you how much it has shaped and molded my guitar playing for the better. That's how Jackson is and that's why Jackson is my favorite guitar brand. Rosewood finger board is good for just getting around the frets. My only issue with this guitar and it's neck is that when I let go of the neck, the neck goes downward. So this guitar isn't well balanced. That's the only thing about it that I don't like. If you are just a player that plays at home or plays sitting down, then go for it but if you're a gigging guitarist and plays standing up, that may become a huge issue. I find it hard to play standing up with it due to this. Overall, great guitar if you want to upgrade, I recommend it. Also, take good care of it. Clean it, Dust it, Polish it, Change the strings every time it needs it, Keep it tuned up and set right for full potential, and upgrade things when they need upgraded and you shall have one fine guitar.

  This is my second guitar and a huge upgrade from a strat. The frets are large and easy to play plus the neck is thin for fast playing. The floyd rose tremolo let's you pull dive bombs off anytime. This guitar gives you the classic metal tones and tons on new ones!
