If subtle and tasteful is your thing you'd better move on.

The Jackson Kelly KE-3 Electric Guitar has an edgy body design and shark fin inlays that make a bold statement with looks alone. But this rocker is a sonic flamethrower too. It features genuine Seymour Duncan humbuckers: a Jazz SH2N at the neck and a JB TB4 at the bridge for lots of firepower and sustain. The JT580LP tremolo lets you bend and twist notes to the max while staying in tune.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Jackson KE3 Kelly Electric Guitar Features:

  • Unique alder body design
  • Bolt-on maple neck
  • Rosewood compound radius (14" to 16") fingerboard
  • Shark fin fretboard inlays
  • 24 jumbo frets
  • Seymour Duncan Jazz SH2N neck pickup
  • Seymour Duncan JB TB4 humbucker bridge pickup
  • 3-way toggle pickup selector
  • JT580LP tremolo

Beautiful Guitar

This guitar is beautiful. It has a nice slim neck similiar to the Ibanez's and also is very comfortable to play while sitting and standing. It has easy access to the higher frets and is a dream to play. The trem staying perfectly in tune and the pups have a nice bite to them. The only thing i didnt like about the guitar is that the high E string is a little close to the edge of the fretboard, making pulloffs more difficult. Other than that, this guitar is definatly worth the money.

champ

The jackson kelly guitar is an all round awesome guitar. I played some Avenged sevenfold and some bullet for my valentine on it and it goes hard. You can get an awesome amount of distortion from the seymore duncan humbukers that really rip out harmonics i would play this guitar over any other axe.

Killer Explorer-esque Guitar!

I tried a used Jackson Kell KE3 at guitar center today. The body is incredibly lightweight, yet manages to pack a powerful punch. The neck was super fast. I had fun with the trem, but it didn't thrill me that much. I was able to play some slipknot and helmet on it and it sounded sick. I even managed to play some of "Hollow" by pantera. It's definitely a good guitar, but i'd much rather take a RR5 Rhoads or an Ibanez SZ than the Kelly.
