  • Looks cool...but

    Great look! However it's really uncomfortable. I got it from GC about two years ago and standing up, the neck dives down and is unbalanced. Terrible stock pickups but you can change those out. Never stayed in tune had to get locking tuners. Good first guitar but it's something I'm going to get rid of today. My biggest problem is the comfort. Sitting down sucks and standing up is bad too. Best thing about it is it has 24 frets and looks badass.

  • great guitar, great price

    This is the third guitar I have purchased. Like most Jacksons it is geared for a distorted rock style, and when I compared it to other infamous "metal guitars" (B.C Rich, Schecter, Ibanez) of this price I liked this one the best. the sound is very clear and when you put the overdrive on it sounds amazing. the neck of this guitar is actually the thing I like most. I never knew what people ment by fast neck but this one is really fast. songs I played well now sound great. and for a guitar company that is famous for a metal sound it sounds good in clean mode. the pick up selecter works well but it is hard to distinguish a difference between the three settings, that is it sounds very similar in all three modes. that aside everything about this Jackson sounds as good as it looks.
