Compound Radius Neck The neck is the most important part of any bass. Well I recall seeing this bass when it was first put on the GC website. At the time I was playing a Squier Classic Vibe 70's Jazz but it wasn't what I once fell in love with haha. When I bought the jazz I was playing classic rock sounding stuff for a group I was with. Well that group fell apart sadly. A metal group had heard me play a show once and thought I had potential in metal. I didn't have a metal bass though! And I wouldn't play a jazz for metal! So this piqued my interest. I watched a video of the famous Dave Ellefson of Megadeth play his Jackson Concert and this bass gave the exact same tone. Bottom line, if you play metal or progressive rock, this bass is totally for you!
