Tone as sharp as its headstock.

The DKMGT Dinky Electric Guitar has a sleek, sculpted string-through alder body with a carved top and flamed maple veneer for classic Jackson Dinky style. An EMG-81 humbucker and the bridge and EMG-85 humbucker pickup at the neck crank out crunchy rhythms and soaring leads. It also has a bolt-on rock maple neck with a bound, compound-radius rosewood fretboard; MOTO piranha fingerboard inlays; and a string-thru body bridge.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

  • AMAZING Jackson AXE

As reviewed by Mikey C on 12/29/2010

I walked into guitar center in Totowa NJ to look for a Ibanez cause I wanted an Edge 3 lo-pro cause I was getting tired of using Floyd Roses. I walked around the store and I found this guitar. I plugged it in a Line 6 Spider Jam and I was amazed at the sound and the neck was thin and served for great hand movement. High bends dont fret out and the EMG's are very responsive. I highly recommend this guitar for players of any level. I started playing 5 yrs. ago and I never had a guitar as great as this one. This is optional but i switched the Active EMG's with EMG HZ Hybrids.

  • Best Guitar Ever!

As reviewed by Sangin on 7/31/2009

This guitar is amazing! I love it, I personally don't like Floyd Roses, so that was a plus. Also this guitar is a string thru body, and in my opinion the best sound come from the body itself. I love this thing it's not heavy, it's not light the weight is perfect, the neck is smooth as butter, bolt on 24 fret reverse head stock, very easy to use and the sound is so crunching the EMGs were a very amazing touch. Also it has a volume and tone knob that's it, very simple and it has a 5 way switch, bridge, bridge middle, middle, middle neck, and neck. And in clean settings this guitar is just amazing.. I love it and I can't way to buy this. THIS IS A MUST HAVE GUITAR!

  • no better guitar exist

As reviewed by Corey on 1/3/2010

The Jackson DKMGT is quite the best guitar I own. It has a great tone even on clean, passive EMG's (which are nice because actives are simply unreliable, the thought of having a battery in my guitar just feels like im not playing a real guitar), The neck is fast and thin, better than that of an Ibanez wizard prestige if anything, it makes Ibanez feel cheap and flimsy, this guitar is beefed! It's also easy to reach the upper frets because of the neckjoint and the heel is in deep. The body contour is way comfortable, the headstock is killer, it stays in tune great, and nice inlays. I hope that sums it up, this is the best guitar ever!
