JBL performance and quality for your all-purpose needs.

The 15", 2-way, bass-reflex JBL SRX715 2-Way Speaker Cabinet is ideal for sound reinforcement, live performance, music playback, or speech. The Differential Drive woofer handles 800W RMS, while the 3" diaphragm, neodymium compression driver on a 75° x 50° horn produces clean, clear highs. Constructed of top quality birch plywood and coated in JBL's rugged DuraFlex finish, so you know the SRX715 is built to last. Internal braces and bulkheads reduce acoustic losses caused by panel resonance. Add a SRX718S (not included) for increased low-frequency extension.

  • Best of the best for small to medium rooms!

As reviewed by gguillo on 7/14/2009

These are the top of the line for passive portable enclosures. A little on the heavy side at 48 lbs. The 3-inch compression driver is a monster for this enclosure! The throw and distance of this speaker is immaculate and you lose ZERO clarity from a far distance. I frequent a club that has (4) of these flown, each running off of a bridged QSC RMX2450. That gives each of these 2400 watts of power @ 4 ohms! They are paired with what I think is (4) JBL SRX 728's if I remember correctly. It makes for a really nice mix and excellent sound distribution. The club is a nice sized room that holds about 425-475 people. These are the best sounding portable mains in their entire class! If I were building a sound system on a budget and needed enclosures of this size, I would honestly go with the MRX 515's. You can get 2 of those for the price of one of these. Yes, the SRX series is a better sounding series, but the MRX 515's are a great cabinet, and is not that noticeable in sound difference... especially if you are on a budget. Enjoy!

  • Top of the portable sound line.

As reviewed by hindusdrums on 8/4/2008

JBL has them all beat. I love these speakers. I started with Mackie SRM 450's and traded them for PRX 515's. The PRX's were good but the sound didn't carry as far as I needed. Plus I wanted birch cabs and class H amps. I paired the SRX 715's with QSC RMX 2450's bridged mono and problem solved. They sound crisp and clear and warm and full all at the same time. The extra power really helps them project. Lots of compliments make for repeat customers and good business. Way to go JBL!

  • Perfect for a DJ

As reviewed by Eclipse DJ Service on 1/24/2008

I love these cabinets! They simply rock all night long. Recommend a serious amp to handle them 1600 watts programable rating each. I use a Peavey GPS2600 in bridge mono mode - they will pound out crystal clear sound for hours. Lite weight and easy to handle - I love the horns they scream.
