The JBL SRX712M Stage Monitor features a 12" Differential Drive woofer and a 3" compression driver with 800W continuous power handling (3,200W peak). A 90° x 50° horn provides smooth, even coverage regardless of the position of the performer. Dual angle polemount provides 90° vertical or 10° down tilt.

JBL SRX 712 Monitor

The JBL SRX 712 is the finest monitor on the market today. Lightweight, powerful, and compact it's a breeze to work with, requiring little e.q., presenting a neat stage appearance and allowing easy transportation. Mated to a high power amplifier, it works equally well operating full range or bi-amped. Rated at 800 watts RMS and very efficient, it sounds stellar, nice detailed mids, clear highs, and plenty of headroom. Frequency response rolls off very sharply below 70 hz however, which limits it as a main speaker, but it's perfect as a floor monitor. I would like to see JBL design a wedge in this group with a 15" driver. Unfortunately the new higher price point has put these out of reach for many people, I suspect JBL needed to make room in the middle for the MRX 400 watt versions which just came out.
