Truly portable compact, lightweight PA speaker.

The JBL MRX515 is a high-power 15" 2-way loudspeaker designed for music and speech reinforcement. The MRX515 offers a very high level of performance and can be placed on a pole or standard speaker tripod stand. The MRX515 features a 15" 265H Differential Drive woofer that handles 400W continuous, yet the entire system weighs only 43 lbs. For the high frequencies, the 2408H 1.5" annular polymer diaphragm, neodymium compression driver is mounted to a 70° x 70° horn. JBL's dual-angle polemount allows the speaker to be mounted in a vertical position or with a 10° down tilt for optimum audience coverage. The enclosure is constructed of quality plywood and coated in JBL's rugged DuraFlex finish. The attractive CNC-machined, 16-gauge steel grille wraps around the sides of the enclosure. The grilles are internally lined with an acoustically transparent screen to provide additional driver protection and give a very professional appearance.

great sound - lightweight

Just bought a pair to replace my JBL SR4725 which were 80lbs. Wow, crisp clean sound. Enhanced our vocals and keyboard. I love technology. Thanks for making them lightweight.

Best speakers of this size and weight.

I went into a guitar center and had an employee try almost every speaker with me. We spent time trying different combos and these sounded great alone and with a sub (even dual subs). But it's not just the sound that makes these amazing, they are LIGHT and small...a blessing. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone that is sick and tired of playing through bad pa speakers where the audience can not hear you. Just as a note though, they are pretty power hungry...you should really buy a power amp that will deliver 800watts at 8ohms to get these things to rock. It's worth it.
