A great speker at a great price

The JBL jrx 125 is a well designed, great sounding speaker for the price. It has a really clear sound. The highs are very clean, not over bearing! And the bass is really good and tight. In most applications there is no need to use bass bottoms. Only in very large venues is this needed. This is one the best dounding speakers I have ever heard and these speakers can handle a lot of power. To be exact they can handle 500 watts at 8ohms load, which is usually more than enough power for most applications. Especially for a moble DJ. Usually you will only need to use a little power to get a lot of sound out of these speakers. Yet if you need to crank it up, they can hang. Very nice speakers. Well worth the purchase. Especially for those who are on a special budget. Go listen to a pair.

JBL at it's BEST!

I used these for an outdoor event and they were rock solid! The sound was great and there was shortage of power! The music could be heard all over the park. If you are a mobile or karaoke jock you should take a listen to these and you will want some of your own. JBL hit a homerun with these.

Great Speakers for any Mobile DJ!

Bought 2 of these JBL 125 and they are the best sounding speakers without Subwoofers. It picks up the highs as well as the lows with extreme power. I power them with my QSC 1850-HD Amplifier and it is perfect sound without distortion. I get complements at every gig and for the size, they are truly monsters.

Great Speaker / Cheap Carpet

The JRX-125 is a great speaker cabinet with a wonderful clear, sharp sound. Rich, deep lows; clear, precise highs and midrange. This speaker will make any owner smile. However, it puzzles me why JBL would cover such a wonderful speaker with CHEAP carpeting that comes unglued at the seams with normal use. Please upgrade this cheap rug covering to a durable covering such as the MRX-525 proudly boasts.

Sound and Then Some

The JBL JRX125 is a valuable asset to any local or traveling band. This pair packs a powerful bass punch and awesome treble. I played in a band for about a year and we used the cabs in practice as well as in show. At about half the potential of volume, our friend heard us and he lives 14 blocks away. When ran through a good mixer, our guitarists were distinguished very easily through their different sound. The drums were incredible and the vocals were clearly understood. The only downside to the pair is that they can be very heavy and use a considerable amount of storage space, but when you hear them you will know it is worth it.
