These two dual JBL 15 in. speakers can last all night...If u have the right amp, there's no telling what it can do....These speakers also sound better than Peavey and Yahama....Thats the only reason why I got them....but yup, I like the way these thump..

  • Tonal Quality

As reviewed by Over the Influence on 4/17/2007

I recently bought a pair of the JBL JRX 125 speakers. I used Live Wire speak-on connectors (12 ga, 25 foot) and hooked them up to the outputs on my powered Yamaha EMX5000-12 mixer. I then ran both my acoustic and electric guitars, thru a DI box, into the powered Yamaha mixer (500w + 500w) and turned the system on. These JBL speakers ROCK~! Not only do they produce a huge sound, but I have never before achieved such tonal quality from my guitars, as when I ran them out thru these JBLs. They sound better than the celestions speakers in my 100w Marshall head using a 4 x 12 cab. Gotta warn you, these JBLs are heavy suckers (94 lbs each) and require a minimum amplifier input of 500 watts each. I also am using a Klipsch pro subwoofer in addition to the JBLs, but that is only for icing on the cake. These JBL speakers will deliver, guaranteed. I compared them to Peavys and Yamahas, and the hands down winner was JBL. Buy them! You won't regret it.

  • Cant go wrong with JBL !!

As reviewed by Marcus on 10/6/2008

For the money all i can say is WOW! These things pump. I'm a DJ and i push these things hard along with a crown XTI 2000 and they just keep putting out clear sound. If you run these through a good EQ you dont really need a bass cabinet with them. Some people may complain about the weight but for what these speakers can do its worth lugging them around. After owning these speakers i guarantee i will only buy JBL's in the future, they are definitely the best audio hands down.
