Bought a pair of these to go with my Jrx 115 cabs. Wow what an addition. They not only look great with the matching cabs but add so much to the already great sound of the tops. The bass response is great and carries for a distance. When I play at a hall I check what it sounds like in the restoom and all you hear is the boom. They don't overpower the listener but the bass really does carry over distance and that's important. They do all of this whith a small cabinet that is manageable for a one man operation. Great sound, great buy, and worth the money!
I am in a band in Milwaukee that plays 4-5 shows a month. We have been using these subs with 2 15" Yamaha Club Series mains, with 2 QSC RMX-2450 amps (one for subs, one for mains) and running through a DMX Driverack PA...this system KILLS! We have played outdoor shows in a huge parking lot and we were louder than when we had a sound company do it for us with 2x's the system! this system also fits for ANY sized indoor venue as well without being SO loud people cant hear anything. We get TONS of compliments at how clear you can hear the vocals, how good the guitars sound and how hard the kick drum and bass hit. We will probably be upgrading to a 2-sub cabinet and adding 2 more mains just to push a little more, but these subs are AWESOME!
