Tried and true

Our band has 2 of these JBL monitors, and we play 2-3 times per month at local bars. Over the past 3 yrs, we've never had a problem with the speakers, never expect to. The sound is perfect, no feedback. Go for it - you'll have the speaker for life.

hot little box

This is a hot thumpin monitor. I drive it with a Crown 402 and its just plain strong. With a 7 piece band incl horn section there's a lot going thorugh it but it handles it all with clean crisp reprodution. I use the it as FOH on small gigs, and when I use a bass rig I use the second to top the rig over 400hz. Again, clean solid sound. I own 5 now. I lift them and angle down for the horns so they can hear. The drummer likes it on the floor by the hat. Me? I like it straight on a pole next to my keys. Yeah, its versatile. The connectors should be on the pole end though.

LOUD FOR IT'S SIZE

this speaker is small and compact, but don't let that fool you...it has AMAZING range and it can hold it's own with a lot of the 15" speakers...and since it's small it doesn't take up a lot of the space when I'm hauling it to gigs...which is a great thing when you have to pile tons of equipment into a truck or van...
