  • Great Speakers!

As reviewed by the mountain on 9/22/2006

I have used these several times in a gym environment, where my organization puts on performances every three months. Let me tell you, they are solid, good sounding, and loud. All I use to compliment them are a mixer, and the necessary mics. The bass is excellent and the treble is crisp. I have experienced, though, that when plugged into different power outlets, the emit a small humming sound, but it becomes inaudible once the music is turned up. Other than that, I've had no problems with them. They're rugged and easy to setup. Again, Great Speakers!

  • These speakers are the BOMB...

As reviewed by g-rock on 1/30/2008

...and they have the low end to prove it. A musician friend told me to buy these speakers a year ago and I didn't listen. These speakers are clear and punchy.I play every thing from Blues to Gospel and the sound is Amazing. Don't think I've had the volume up more than half of what they are capable of. My only criticism is I wished they had better handle grips for carrying--maybe one on each side (hint-hint to JBL). One handle makes it awkward to carry and mount on a pole or speaker stand. Also the wing-nuts to tighten on a speaker stands don't seem to work as well as they should. Other than that these speakers are well worth the investment.

  • Right On Cue Entertainment

As reviewed by Carl on 8/9/2006

I've own these for six years and I am still impressed with their sound. I use one matching Sub woofer with them. The sound Kicks! Worth every penny. You can't go wrong.
