Best Powered Speakers Ever.
As a constantly working mobile and club DJ, these rock solid road ready bangers are have not let me down for over 3 years! Truely great speakers with good range and nice versatility. I recommend getting the padded JBL wheeled case for each one- for ultimate portability and protection!

Awesome with a sub!
Buy these along with a subwoofer, and you'll never go looking for speakers again. The bass on these are punchy enough without the sub, but with the sub, you will hear what a complete sound package you have assembled. These speakers have excellent frequency range, especially the highs, they sound amazingly clear, even at high volumes. They're easy to setup, so even beginners can use these comfortably!

Great Powered PA Speakers
Easily recognizable from many clubs, churchs, etc., the JBL Eon series makes PA audio as close to painless as it has ever been. No seperate amp chassis, less wiring, and good sound make the JBL Eon easy to recomend as well. Good for small spaces, the Eons are perfect for bing games, school dances or addresses, and the like.

portable and powerful
I have a pair of these monsters for two years now using them (once a week) as main speakers for small to medium size Acoustic Guitar and Jazz Sessions, and also to some mobile dj gigs teamed with B-52's self powered Act18 Sub paralled with another Act18 (passive) sub and the EonP1s as monitors . They are definitely worth it considering their power to dollar ratio; for 400 watts of power they have an ample power that I need on my gigs and they're professional looking. They have 3 inputs with one balanced XLR.
The only downside is they have a slightly harshness in mid to upper frequencies compared to the brother's mackies SRM-450s, but I can shape/correct it using a dual 31 band EQ (which is recommended for my sound applications).
As per experience, the eons are first-rate interms of ruggedness, power, portability and reliabilty.
No major issues/problems so far.

Great Speakers!
I have used these several times in a gym environment, where my organization puts on performances every three months. Let me tell you, they are solid, good sounding, and loud. All I use to compliment them are a mixer, and the necessary mics. The bass is excellent and the treble is crisp. I have experienced, though, that when plugged into different power outlets, the emit a small humming sound, but it becomes inaudible once the music is turned up. Other than that, I've had no problems with them. They're rugged and easy to setup. Again, Great Speakers!
