This set of speakers is great for any mid size venue indoor and outdoor, they can provide good sound for about 200-300 people. I set the level of the speakers at midpoint and I am getting loud sound and great quality, I definately recommend this speakers to anyone!
Now with the addition of the subwoofer, you will be in top shape for any large venue.

I had a Harbinger PA system that I bought for around 300 dollars. I went cheap. They blew the first show I had and I only play acoustic. I then decided to purchase a Behringer mixer and ran it into just ONE of these and man.. It sounds amazing! The bass was so clear and thick yet the highs and mids were crisp and full. I am going to buy another one of these for sure!
Gigged with 2 for over a year. Overall these are good speakers, esp considering power vs. weight. But ... the bass end cut out on one while under warranty. Easy minor repair, low-freq vibration just shook loose a connector to the speaker that wasn't properly seated at the factory. Using hi-Z input it isn't loud enough. If your mixer has XLR outs, use 'em. If not, a cheap TRS-to-XLR adapter w/ the 315 mic input level setting delivers the expected volume for a 280W amp. Counterintuitive, but it is what it is. 4 out of 5 for minor annoyances in an otherwise good product.
