Overview

The ISP Technologies Stealth is the first true professional, high-power floor-mount guitar power amplifier, delivering performance on par with the best guitar amplifiers of the day. The Stealth is based on analog class A/B amplifier design for excellent sonic and saturated clipping performance, not found with Class D power amplifiers, and will exceed the stringent tone characteristics of the professional guitarist. It can be used for high SPL gigs and professional stage use.

It's powered from an external 19 volt DC switch-mode power adaptor like that used with a laptop but will deliver a true 180W RMS continuous output power into an 8 ohm speaker cabinet, and greater than 120 volts bridged output voltage swing. The Stealth can also be used as a stereo 2x80W amp @ 4 ohms.

It can power a single 4x12 cabinet with incredible SPL volume level output or will power two cabinets in a true stereo rig. This small package will deliver more power to a speaker than the typical 100W guitar amplifier, and will easily interface with any guitar floor system or high-performance pedal board. The Stealth weighs in at only 1.2 lbs., delivers amazing efficiency and it includes internal protection against shorts, open circuits and wrong impedance loads. An internal power on/off output control circuit provides pop-free operation for turn on and turn off.

Sweet Thing!

By Kelly Iler

from Springfield, MO.

Comments about ISP Technologies Stealth Compact Floor Power Amplifier for Guitar:

I was looking to add a power amp for my Home Studio when I spied this little jewel on Guitars Centers web site. I did quit a bit of research as I always do before buying anything new to me. I even called and spoke to the creator of the amp. After about a 45 min. conversation with him I decided to go ahead and order it from the Springfield, MO. store " Which is about the best GS I've ever been to!!! " When I received the unit and hooked it up I was BLOWN AWAY with the sound this tiny (Well Built and Made in America) box produces. Well I put it on my pedal-board and took it to rehearsal to give it a try there. I'm a bass player and I wasn't sure how this would turn out! I connected my Aguilar - DB 112 up to it in the Bridged configuration and used my Tone Hammer Preamp/DI "Stomp Box" to drive it with. I and the rest of the band were amazed with how well it preformed. So if you are looking for a very cool alternative to lugging a lot of gear to a small venue this little baby will do the job! For the gigs I play I will still need my full Rig for the Head Room "you know" and I will be using for my own personal monitor to the Drummer and myself to keep the volume down to a minimum on stage when he tells me he can't hear my bass very well. I leave it on my P-board and still use it in my studio to power monitors. It's a win, win situation! If you get one "YOU WILL LOVE IT" as for guitar use this thing will make a Fender "Twin" stand up a take notice. It can get very LOUD! so don't be fooled by it's size! I hope this will help you decide if it's right for You. "I'm a happy man with mine"
