The ISO-L8R200 studio monitor stands from IsoAcoustics are the product of patented isolation technology that enhances the sound clarity of any speakers including studio monitors, home theatre systems, and sound reinforcement. The ISO-L8R200 speaker stands are designed to isolate your speakers, effectively eliminating energy transfer to surrounding surfaces, preventing coloration of frequencies. Bass becomes tighter, and overall image is enhanced, allowing your speakers to perform to their full potential.
IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R200 stands are ideal for large nearfield and smaller midfield studio monitors -- ADAM S3X-H, Dynaudio BM15A, Genelec 1032A, JBL LSR4328P, KRK Exposé, and similarly sized speakers
ISO-L8R200 speaker stands prevent the transfer of speaker cabinet energy to surrounding surfaces, effectively isolating the speaker from the desktop, bookshelf or other surface. By allowing the speaker to perform in free space, it's able to sound the way it was intended. The end result is a more accurate, satisfying sound, which makes mixing and listening a better experience.
An important aspect of the speaker stand design is the ability to adjust the height and tilt angle of the supported speaker enclosure to optimize its position relative to the listener. Two lengths of tubing along with 2 sets of end-plug pairs provide 14 steps of height adjustment as the combinations are used to tilt the speaker up and down. The stand can be assembled and reconfigured repeatedly to establish the ideal position off the supporting surface and focused towards the listener.
Whether you're a pro mixing in the studio, a musician creating in a come project environment, or an audiophile who appreciates every nuance of music and sound, you will hear and appreciate the difference with the ISO-L8R200 studio monitor stands.

I don't often write reviews, but these things work. They made an obvious improvement in the sound of my 2-way 8" JBL's and really surprised me how significant it was. They are easy to use/install but be careful to get the best size for your speakers. I liked them so much I bought another pair for my smaller Alesis Monitor 1's and a large single for my JBL Sub. The improvement is way more noticeable than anything you'll hear in high end cables.
I have been using Mopads for years now and thought that I was getting the best out of my monitors. I had "Event 20/20s" and now have "Rokit-8 G2's." I bought these because they looked modern and my "Auralex Mope's" were getting shabby anyway. I was shocked to hear a much more definitive low end and a greater sense of "space" compared to what I was getting from the foam isolators. When people say they make an improvement it is not an exaggeration. I noticed an extremely low decrease in perceived volume with these stands but I suspect that it is because of better isolation, better phase alignment and less low-end mud. So you can say that it is a good thing. These are a great investment!
Best product I have bought so far, built very well. Used the Auralex MoPads, for years, and got good results. These you will notice a noticeable difference. Your highs will be much clearer, and your lows, will be alot more noticeable. Stereo field is much tighter also. They are not a gimmick, and they are worth every dollar you spend. People spend money on all this expensive gear, and they leave the acoustic treatment out of the equation, which is not very smart. So before you go off and spend money on other gear, spend money on making sure, your monitors, give you exactly what you paid for, and that is an accurate reference. Nothing worse than having to tweak your mixes too many times.
