Tune fast in any environment!

The tried-and-true Intellitouch PT1 Tuner is designed to tune electric and acoustic guitars, basses, violins, banjos, mandolins, and more without interference from ambient room noise, all without the the use of wires, microphones, or pickups. Tuning in noisy environments is a snap because the unique, flexible clamp actually "feels" the instrument's vibrational energy instead of relying on sound.

The swiveling design allows a perfect view of the LCD display from nearly any angle.

Intellitouch learns and remembers letting you set any tuning frequency you require, saving that learned reference as a preset, even when it's turned off.

It has a 7-octave range and precision within one cent. Two 3V coin cell batteries provide 30 hours continuous tuning.

love it

I love it because you can have a million things going on around you and you can still tune your guitar with out it picking up other sounds. It is the best it has never let me down and it is worth the money spent!! it is very easy to use great for beginners and pros.!

The best!

The Intellitouch PT1 Tuner is the best tuner I've ever owned. If aything ever happened to it, I'd get another one in a heartbeat. No cords or shushing the band, just clip it on and go. It is very accurate and the light makes it easy to see on stage. It is especially great in noisy environments. Battery life is excellent, I've used mine every day for for 6 months and the batteries are still going strong. I tune down a half-step, and it registers with no problems. All the other tuners I've used have a hard time with anything but standard tuning. The clamp isn't as strong as I would like, but that's the only drawback I can think of. Highly recommended!

The Last Tuner I'll Buy

I haven't bought another tuner since buying this one. The best thing about it is its ease of use. No plugging in, no sitting it on your knee, no making everyone be quiet. Plus this tuner comes with a hard case so you can put it in your bag and not worry that you will break the plastic. If I ever lose it or accidently break it I would definitely replace it. The only thing that is a problem for me is when I tune my classical guitar. The width of the head stock on my classical guitar is larger than my other guitars and it's hard to fit the tuner on it.

Must Have For Live Shows!

i play tons of live shows, and it has always been frustrating having to deal with pedal tuners and all the cables required to use them. bought this lil tuner a few nights ago and it was the best 50 bucks i have ever spent. probably not the most accurate tuner, but is close enough for live music. this tuner is very versatile. i found out that if u clip it on to your cabinet it is still very effective. A MUST FOR GIGGING MUSICIANS!

A cool gadget

This tuner is a very neat invention - it rests invisible behind your headstock, tunes with reasonable accuracy, and is backlit for those dark shows. An added bonus - on electric guitar, you can mute your guitar and it still picks up the vibrations from the wood - great for gigging. I have used this tuner extensively on both acoustic and electric, and it has never let me down.Maybe a little on the pricey side, but if you're looking for an alternative to standard tuners, look no further.
