Founded by Mike Matthews in October 1968, Electro-Harmonix's first offering was the Axis fuzz pedal, also built for the Guild company as the "Foxey Lady". The company went on to make a number of classic efeects, including the LPB-1 booster, Screaming Tree treble booster, Small Stone phaser, Small Clone chorus, Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger, Memory Man delay, and the truly majestic Big Muff Pi fuzz.
