Originally introduced as the Dual Professional in 1946, Fender renamed it as the Super one year later. Pumping 20 watts through 2x10" speakers, the Super is one of Fender's lesser known treasues as it has the ability to attain sweet overdriven tones at fairly low volume. It was unceremoniously discontinued in 1963, but was reissued and enjoyed a five year run as a 4x10 combo from '92-97.
