Manufactured between 1961-63, the brown Fender Deluxe was basically the same circuit as it's immensely popular predecessor, the Tweed Deluxe. Covered in Fender's new, tougher tolex covering, it was better suited to the wear and tear of the road. In '64 the tolex color was changed to black. The Deluxe remains a favorite go-to amp for touring and studio musicians to this day.
