      DLS Versa Vibe Pedal (106861339)
Availability:

Welcome to the pure analog, Versa Vibe by DLS Effects! More versatile than most vibe effects out there, DLS includes an innovative Optical Technology, plus controls such as Bass Throb, Wet-Dry, and Waveform pots to dial in any Vibe sound imaginable! There is even a new internal Brightness pot to adjust brighter or darker Chorus Vibe Tone. Switch between Vibrato & Chorus for pitch bending vibrato, or signature Trower and Gilmour vibes. Dial in that classic Jimi & SRV sound, or vintage Magnatone amp vibrato, not to mention some new radical vibes like double pulse throb sounds. Select Vintage for more intense, thicker, traditional sounds, or switch to Modern for brighter tones. A charge pump circuit increases the analog voltage so you get warm, dynamic, high headroom pure analog sound without clipping! An Expression pedal input jack is available for rate with a foot pedal. True switch bypass and non polarity 9vdc input put the Versa Vibe over the top.

  • Best Vibe slash Chorus

As reviewed by DONALD ALBERS on 2/3/2012

I own this pedal and its deep and wild. The depth is crazy - nothing touches DLS for build quality. This single pedal gets all the sounds required. Best deep vibe on the market and I played all of them. This may be a little pricey but well worth the $$s - since you can dial so many differnt sounds. The only draw back I found is the pedal's shape - its a bit tall - so, if you're like me and using PedalTrain boards - place it in the first row. In the upper row you can't close your case. This worked well for me as I built my first pedal row with all DLS pedals - Chorus, Vibe and Roto-Sim. These are all amazing pro quality pedals.

  • Love it!

As reviewed by Tony on 11/19/2014

got one of these this weekend and love it. Have been looking for a good vibe chorus pedal for a couple of years now, and this was exactly what I was after. way more flexible than the classic dunlop univibe, especially if you're wanting a more subtle effect, since you can turn down the bass throb and mix. doesn't sound sterile or cheesy like a lot of chorus pedals, great for a hendrix'y tone.

  • Sweet and lush to pretty weird - it can do it all!

As reviewed by Jerrell on 8/8/2014

This is my first ever vibe pedal, but I spent a ton of hours reading vibe reviews and listening to vibe shootouts/samples. Let me tell you - if you are a Hendrix/Trower/Gilmour fan, this is the ONLY vibe you should consider! It can easily replicate any of those signature sounds with about 30 seconds of knob twiddling. More importantly, and the primary reason I bought it, it has incredible subtle tones available with little to no effort. I use it for faux organ, surf-style vibrato, phasing from subtle to wild, and about any time I want to just open the guitar timbre a bit. Since I play in a band with a great keyboardist and that is versatile, performing the gamut of pop/rock/country/funk/R&B/blues, I find myself turning to my Versa Vibe very frequently. Is it expensive? Yep, but it is absolutely worth it! If you are looking for the occasional vibe effect and don't need the versatility that the Versa has, then by all means, look at a cheaper vibe. However, I highly recommend resisting that impulse as you find the cost of the Versa is worth the myriad of tonal possibilities. One other word of advice - I did try this with an expression pedal as well. For live applications, it did not work well for me. Perhaps my foot is too heavy, but I have found that in general I can make changes in just a few seconds and rarely need to change the sweep rate during a tune. Hey, and it is a cool magenta color as well!
