TSA15H w Cab

Comments about Ibanez Tube Screamer Series TSA15H Head and TSA112C 1x12 Half Stack:

Very happy with my purchase. Utilized discounts and got it for a great price. Very versatile head in terms of dialing in a great tone. The amp is only good for clean and dirty blues. You can also get some good classic rock tones as well, but this amp really shines in the blues/blues rock genre. The one problem I have with the amp is that it doesn't have a built in reverb of any sort. Other than that, I would recommend this for anybody that wants to get that Kenny Wayne Shepherd or SRV sound for a great price. Oh yea, the 5w/15w switch is great to have and this thing literally SCREAMS when it's turned up!!

Comments about Ibanez Tube Screamer Series TSA15H Head and TSA112C 1x12 Half Stack:

Recently I was looking for a new amp.specifically one of the many low wattage, easy to carry tube amps which of course there is no shortage of these days. With models from,PRS,Orange,Egnator,Marshall Jet City and many others to choose from there is certainly no shortage of them out there. This Ibanez is not in the same category as the Orange Tiny Terror, or the Egnator Tweeker or the like but keep in mind you are paying a lot less. The clean sound on this amp is fine and loud enough, the boost also is fine however the so called tube screamer no matter what I did with the gain and volume controls sounded muddy always. The amp is also missing a balanced line out something every small amp should have. It certainly looks good, the fit and finish is good however I went with the Egnator Rebel 30 head and 2 seperate 1x12 cabinets. I would have reservations about a 15 watt amp in pro settings outside of your house I just don't think that's enough. Again at this price point you're not spending ten cents to much for this amp however there is better options out there if money permits.
