The Ibanez Tube Screamer is one of the best overdrive pedals ever produced, hands down, and the TSA15 tube combo amp features a true Tube Screamer circuit that delivers that same legendary overdrive. The TSA15 combo features a 12" Celestion Seventy 80 speaker and can deliver everything from natural clean sounds; fat crunch tones; and even warm, smooth overdriven tones with the modified TS9 circuit built right into the amp.
Guitarists normally have to depend on a separate effect pedal to get the distinctive, warm overdrive sounds of a tube amp. No more! The new TSA15 Tube Combo Amp has a genuine Tube Screamer circuit built right into the front end for all the warm tube overdrive punch and crunch you'll need. Includes footswitchable functionality with Tube Screamer Overdrive, Tone, and Level controls. IFS2G footswitch sold separately.

This combo amp sounds amazingly good for the price! It's a real sleeper... Hard to find one in the stores. In fact, not a single music store in the Atlanta area had one. I had to special order mine. Having never heard one in person, I just went on faith having read many positive views and listening to youtube demonstrations. Well, this thing doesn't disappoint! The clean channel IMHO is better than my Fender Supersonic 112.. Transparent with less mud, yet very full at the same time. Great for chording and single-note funk lines. Sounds great with hums and sc pickups. The footswitchable Tubescreamer channel (not really it's own channel per-se, but a real TS808-ish circuit in front of the preamp) is very flexible and will give you a lot of tonal variety to work with for blues and rock. NO METAL. If you want a metal amp, go look somewhere else. The footswitchable Boost "channel" adds a LOT of volume (hang on for the ride!!!) and also induces a tonal shift to the mid-frequencies, i.e. a "Thick" boost. Makes solos really cut through, and when used on the clean side adds a touch of real tube OD... Very tasty! The build quality is impressive. Clean lines and good seams on the tolex, straight lines on the grillecloth, and substantial rubber feet on the bottom. Thick wood on the back of the cab, with a metal grill covering the tubes on the open back. This is a well thought-out amp design, and I expect it to last for a very long time. Overall, this is the perfect amplifier to compliment my style of playing. I thought I would miss having reverb (The TSA series has yet to include a reverb circuit) but I honestly found that I don't need it. There is an FX loop that I occasionally use to patch in my BOSS DD-5 delay pedal, and it sounds great. This amp is very light and portable, with plenty of volume to fill a medium-sized bar, or mic it for large/outdoor gigs. With the 5W/15W mode switch on the back I can not only use it at a gig, but I can take it home to jam in my little condo without making the neighbors angry.
