Overview

The Ibanez SRX350 electric bass guitar was designed for heavier playing styles, and it meets that demand in a no-nonsense layout. The EQBIIDX 2-band EQ makes it easy to find various sounds, and the now-famous stock Ibanez PFR pickups, which major artists rave about, are there to give you that extra punch. The original Ibanez Soundgear fast neck (with just a bit more wood for heft and meatier tone) is combined with the comfortable Soundgear body shape.

The Ibanez bass's body features a beautiful and sturdy light ash wood, with gorgeous grains that gives the bass guitar its captivating look. The 3-piece maple neck adds strength in both construction and tone alike. Medium frets provide comfort when running up and down the rosewood fretboard. The Accu-cast B200 string height is easily adjustable with a simple turn of just one screw at the saddle.

Dressed in a transparent black finish, the grain of the wood shines through to show off the natural beauty of this killer electric bass through its mysterious veneer.

This is an affordale and very powerful sounding instrument

By Zachary Goodman

from San Francisco, CA

The Ibanez SRX350 bass guitar is a great bass with a powerful sound that can handle most styles of rock and metal music. It has very high output pickups, which can push some small amps a bit too hard, but with a decent size amp you will get some serious growl out of this instrument. It has a natural bite when played clean and it sounds very full and thick when distortion is added. It has a neck that is very playable. It's small enough to facilitate quick movements from position to position, but it has enough mass to feel good in your hand. This bass also has a two-band equalization control built in, and this can really help you find your sound. If either band (bass and treble) is turned up too high, the sound becomes very unbalanced, but when used in moderation it can be a very powerful tone shaping tool. This bass is very balanced when played standing up, but it also sits comfortably when played in a sitting position. Assuming you don't wear your bass too low, you won't have a problem getting around on this instrument. I would recommend this to players of modern styles which require an aggressive sound, but keep in mind that it can be too much for some small amps.

Great Starting Bass!

By Jake

from Boca Raton FL

I got this bass because It was the best-feeling bass that was in my price range at the store when I went to get a bass for my band a few months ago. Since then, I have used it at shows ever since, and I like it better than any other bass that I have played since, short of thousand $+ Music Mans. The duel humbuckers really give a great, full sound (and are very comfortable for my thumb), its not too heavy, the neck is really skinny, and the action is perfect! If you are looking to spend in this price range, or even a bit outside of this price range, definitely try it out!

great bass even for advanced techniques!

By jeffrey harper

from ponchatoula, louisiana

I bought this bass almost 2 years ago when i was a beginner. I didnt know anything about basses and the different brands, but this one felt the best. I had the money to buy a high end fender, but i chose this cheaper ibenez cuz it simply felt better. Now looking back 2 years later, after learning much, much more about the different brands, i could not have bought a better bass. I have had to adjust the truss rod 3 times, only cuz i live in louisiana where the weather and humidity is crazy. I play alot of super fast slap and double thumb victor wooten, and this bass does it with perfection. I tell all my friends to buy ibenez. i play with GHS bloomers and the tone is amazing. It sounds great clean or with wah or distortion. this bass should cost much more for what you get out of it. Cannot recomend more. IBENEZ FOREVER!
