Overview

Ibanez' marvel of form and function, the S Series, continues to evolve for today's player. It's cloaked in a quilted maple top with beautiful transparent finish. Lurking beneath the S Series graceful 3-D shape is mahogany specifically chosen for S Series instruments. Light enough to amaze in terms of comfort, heavy enough to provide the tone and sustain that players expect from the S Series.

As the originators of the thin, fast neck, the Wizard III neck is yet another achievement in playability, providing the kind of comfort that translates to responsiveness and speed. The best of all worlds. Iconic Ibanez humbucker, single-coil, humbucker configuration provides an impressive palette of tone textures.

Ibanez Edge Zero II bridge features stud lock function, it offers tight tone, and good tuning stability allowing you to perform the most radical of trem effects with flawless tuning accuracy. Case sold separately.

Comments about Ibanez S670QM S Series Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar for a backup for my Ibanez Prestige & Jem, it disappoints big time! this one is going back for sure!!!
Out of the box:
Poor quality control, sharp fret edges, poor pickups (plans on replacing all pickups anyway for Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio)..Uneven paint job specially at the output jack area...pretty sad.

Comments about Ibanez S670QM S Series Electric Guitar:

After initially unboxing the S670 and plugging it in, it seemed great. It really has a wonderful neck, decent tone for stock pickups, and good action in standard tuning. Lots of fret buzz, but since it's an electric I really don't care. The disappointment came when I attempted to tune down to drop c sharp. It took me over 20 minutes of fooling with the locking but and fine tuners to get it in drop c, and 5 minutes into playing I noticed 2 things. 1, the guitar had gone out of tune to a noticeable extent, and trying to play in low tunin above the twelfth fret is muted because the strings hit the pickups. I really don't like having to skyrocket the action to play metal. If this tremolo system could hold a tuning I would give it 4 stars, but it cannot. Going to trade it in for a better guitar

Comments about Ibanez S670QM S Series Electric Guitar:

First of all i did get this guitar used in mint condition with DiMarzio evo 2 pickups in the neck and bridge and another DiMarzio single coil.As far as the stock pups i dont know how good or "Bad" they might be, but Ibanez seems to always have okay pups compared to most stock guitars...THIS GUITAR SCREAMS, you hear offten in reviews about the bridge and blah blah blah it doesnt dive bomb or stay in tune...but NO this tremolo is great and of course there might be better trems out there but it works just fine if you feel the need to go all Steve Vai on your tremolo. Also you hear how a wizard 3 neck isnt as good as this and that, well i will say from a fast player that has played Jacksons, Deans, LTDs ESPs and various other fast neck guitars that personally and also i dont have large hands about normal sized and it really just gets work done. The fact that how thin is is and its mahogany is just mind blowing about how easy it is to play standing up REALLY, as soon as i got it i just wore it around the house playing for days and it just felt like a part of myself its that comfortable. This guitar i would honestly say its about as close to getting a premium Ibanez guitar as you can get as far as a S series or RG guitar goes for around this price point and i have played many high and low end products. now im not just gonna say everything is PERFECT even though it mostly is...the one thing that could be slightly better and that is very very minor about the guitar i have gotten is that the fret edges could be done a bit better but nothing like a cheap squire or some bottom of the barrel guitar as some of you might know, all you need is a little know how (or youtube haha..) and BAM! your set. All in all i would say that anyone that loves to play fast, slow, or even learn guitar as a person starting out new, it will not get much better than this for the money you pay and with 150$-200$ more to grab the pups you want to install in this bad boy to make it sing and scream or cry and whine like the soul inside you that makes your musical identity your own, this guitar will love you as much as you show it you love it. just dont forget to name her because shes a sexy singing beauty you will have in your arms for as long as you have arms. Happy Rocking Guitar Center People :)

      Beautiful Looking and Sounding Guitar

Comments about Ibanez S670QM S Series Electric Guitar:

This is my second Ibanez (RG570 metallic blue). The quilted maple top with sapphire blue is beautiful. Everyone comments on the thinness of this guitar, and it is a thin body which makes for a light guitar. However the sound is big and great. Acoustic strumming this guitar sounds rich. My original plan was to replace the pickups with a set of Evolutions from DiMarzio; however, the stock pickups sound great. The guitar arrived from Guitar Center definitely playable. However, I lowered the action a little and adjusted the intonation on the E and A strings. If you haven?t played a Wizard neck, try it. I really like the thin neck. This guitar plays and sounds great. I would recommend this guitar to a friend? a lot of guitar for a fair price. Thanks Ibanez and Guitar Center!
