This is probably one of the most beautiful guitars you can find on the market these days. It's very light, beautifully shaped and equipped with some impressive high-tech gizmos. Although some might not agree, I think the UV reactive paint ads a lot of value to this toy. A "luciferase" guitar. Thanks to two humbuckers and that single coil in between, you get a very impressive tone range. That new tremolo is a beast. When I bought the guitar, I read up a little on what it had to offer, but I could have never guessed that it could deliver all that performance so effortlessly. In my opinion, this is, by far, the best tremolo to go onto an Ibanez. Pickups are very good as well. I tested multiple guitars in this pierce range at the day of purchase, and found only one guitar that was better when it came to that aspect - the RG1XXV. DiMarzios on that "big brother" are, without a doubt, better than these Ibanez coils. However, I'll stress it again, this guitar is equipped with a very impressive set of pickups. At the end of the day, the better tremolo on this guitar and only marginally worse pickups still made S1XXV a better choice, regardless of the price difference. If you're wandering what all that equals to in sound, then all I can say is "perfection". This toy really highlights the "instrument" in a guitar...tone, sound, and even under UV =] There is, however, a small warning that needs to be attached to this guitar - this is not an item you will be able to return. I'm sure the store will take it back if necessary, but you'll simply never work up the guts to take it back. Thus, spend responsibly ;)
Has a great feel to it. Very easy to manuever your hand along the neck due to the fact that the neck is very sleek. I'm no music expert, but this guitar can play all genres of music from thrash metal like Bullet for my Valentine to jazz. Very good compared to the Ibanez rg1xxv as well.
