The new Ibanez Premium series of guitars designed for hardworking musicians. These guitars are for players who push their guitars to the fullest every night on stage and who demand real professional quality instruments, both functionally and visually. It's crafted by a high skilled luthier to Prestige model quality standards at the Ibanez Premium factory.

The punchy American basswood body has made from Premium-grade quilted maple top with a high transparency clear coat and matching headstock. The thin and fast Wizard Premium 7 neck has specially rounded Premium fret edges for smooth play and comfortable neck grip. Custom wound DIMarzio IBZ-7 pickups with 5-way switching offer the hot, molten clarity you desire for precise, tight riffing while the Ibanez “Edge-Zero II-7” tremolo and “ZPS 3” offer great tuning stability and smooth arming for dive-bombs and flutters.

The Premium Treatment
Hand-Rolled Fret Edges
This slow, demanding process makes for a smooth, fast playing neck. Generally a feature of guitars costing thousands more, our luthiers round each fret edge by hand. Why? Grab a finger position and slide it quickly up and down the neck: notice that there's nothing there to slow you down.

Edge Zero II-7 Tremolo
The Zero Point system makes tuning a breeze and holds tune over the course of lengthy performances, even if a string breaks. The Edge-Zero II bridge with ZPS3Fe. Installation of the Zero Point System in the Edge Zero II makes tuning easier and faster as well as providing stable tuning for long performances, all while maintaining smooth tremolo playing. Loss of tuning is kept to a minimum, even when a string breaks. For players that prefer a full floating system, simply remove the stop bar.

5-Piece Wizard Premium Neck
The thin and fast Wizard neck on RG Premium models is following the same playability and comfort on its Prestige counterpart. Seasoned maple with walnut substrates gives the Wizard its stability.

Stud Bold Locks
The more solidly each component is anchored, the greater a guitar's sustain. These stud bolts contain inner set screws that wed the bridge to the body, maximizing string vibration.

DiMarzio IBZ-7 Humbuckers with ceramic magnets were designed especially for Ibanez and are voiced to harness the drop-tuned harmonica richness of 7-string with power and clarity. The overall tone is harmonically rich and layered, as well as easily adjusted to a variety of musical needs. The tone is vivid but easy to control to your sonic requirement.

A great guitar

Comments about Ibanez RG927QM Premium Electric Guitar:

i decided to wait for a few months to get my true thoughts about this guitar. let me say, it is just amazing. the look and feel of this guitar is just wonderful, after a little trus rod adjustments i found this thing to be extremely smooth. the tone is more in the brighter side. i have another ibanez rg 7 string with john petrucci signature pickups and that brings a little bit more of a darker tone. that being said though this guitar has a great mix between the lows and highs. the stock pick ups on this guitar really are not too bad. i like the fact that i can buy a guitar of this price without having to spend 100-200 more dollars on better pickups. they treat this to be a prestige, which will be my next ibanez purchase, I've always wanted a prestige, so currently i couldn't give a great comparison between this and the prestige's. that being said, ibanez currently does not have any good looking prestige 7 strings. (besides the j custom) all and all though, this guitar is a great guitar. its a work horse. if you don't stop, it won't fail you. if you want a good 7 string, buy this. really the paint job just takes the cake, and compared to the other 7 strings offered, there isn't any other ones that look as good that is reasonably priced.

Comments about Ibanez RG927QM Premium Electric Guitar:

This guitar is great! Straight out of the box, this thing is ready to go. The frets are dressed well, the intonation is perfect, the tremolo stays in tune, and the quilt maple top is legit, and looks great. The pickups are great (what else would you expect from DiMarzio?), and the lowest string (mine is tuned to Ab, and the string isn't floppy at all. Infact, it's really tight, and articulate) rings clearly, and the sustain is great. I really can't find any problems with this guitar, I wholeheartedly suggest it.
